We have been going to DocSide for many years. They have always treated our pets like their own. We’ve also lost many pets, and they have been so caring. I just lost my Annie last year, and Dr. Tierney was just so wonderful explaining exactly what was going to happen and was so compassionate. I lost my Daphne this year, and everyone at DocSide were wonderful. I just adopted a new fur baby and took her in for a wellness exam. Everyone treated me like family giving me hugs for being back🥰🥰

The Vet Techs and receptionists are true animal lovers. They greeted me and my cat by name when we came in. Sensitive to the dogs in the waiting room, we were quickly escorted into a clean exam room. My kitten was handled with care and he is doing well! I wouldn't take my cats to any other Vet.

Friendly, helpful, and compassionate staff. Dr. Tierney is fantastic at explaining cat anatomy and prescriptions to me. I've been a difficult "customer" but everyone at the vet treats me with respect and addresses my concerns well.

Generally a great vet practice, With the exception of Dr. Irvin Herling. I've been bringing my pets here since I moved to Baltimore 10 years ago. We have been here for easy care and for complicated care. I've found the employees here to be terrific. Caring and smart. The exception is Dr. Herling. Who, may be a good vet but is unprofessional and uncaring. While telling me he believed my dog has terminal cancer with 6 months to live he felt the need to answer a personal call on his cell phone and then stand in the doorway of the exam room speaking with employees at the reception desk about giving someone a ride home. This was DURING his explanation as to why he believe my dog had terminal cancer, which was an absolute shock. I'm not sure what kind of a cruel desensitized human does this. But he did. And he will never lay a finger on one of my pets again. It was an act of cruelty, during a devastating time, that I won't soon forget. I've had nothing but professional visits with Dr. Coughlin and other vets there. I would never reccomend Dr. Herling. He should really consider a different career where human interaction is at a minimum. Be selective with who treats your pets here.

Drs. Tierney, Herling, and Coughlin are knowledgeable, compassionate, and just a lot of fun to talk to. They treat our pets gently and with respect, and work with clients to create the best care plans possible.
