Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Dr. Pete is an amazing vet who takes great care of both of our pups. He always recommends the best for them without going over the top with unnecessary procedures or treatments. We switched to him last year and are so glad we did!

Everyone is so helpful and they make you feel like your pet is the most important client they have. Very professional and they go above and beyond to answer all your questions and they take their time with you and your pet. Will definitely continue to use this doctor.

When we moved to Lafayette, we were referred to Dr. Pete for our cat by a friend. I'm always scared to take my cat to the vet because she really doesn't like being around dogs, but the first thing I noticed at Dr. Pete's is that there is no waiting--you and your pet are taken right into the exam room. Dr. Pete is very communicative about what he's looking for with your pet. He and his technicians have a calming energy, and make even the most nervous kitty feel safe. Dr. Pete has your pet's best intentions in mind. His staff is incredibly helpful and understanding (when a stray cat showed up in my yard, they were supportive and patient with me when I couldn't safely get the cat in the carrier). They know your pets by name and help you make the best decisions for your pet. I fully recommend Town and Country Veterinary Clinic!

Cooper loves going to see everyone at Town and Country Vet. They are so sweet and love the animals so much. Cooper and I are always happy to visit especially Cooper because he gets so many treats and is eating treats from everyone’s hands. :)
