How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Clinic Inc
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I really like the doctor he's always taking care of my cats and I don't care what the place looks like

He’s been around 40 years. Not only is he a very educated vet and usually guesses the issue right off. His prices are reasonable. And considerably lower than any vet in the area. Awesome guy Paul Graham

I gave them 2 stars because they were the only ones that would see my aunt's dog on a Saturday on an emergency basis but once there they did not even examine the dog, just sold my aunt some medicine for constipation. We were pretty sure that's all it was but thank goodness she didn't have a blockage or something else wrong. For a fairly large city the vet options are lacking for emergencies.

The place looks like an old bait & tackle shop, does not take debit/credit cards, & (according to some of these comments) looks somewhat sketchy at first glance… but let me tell you, DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY THE COVER. He is the BEST VET I have ever been to. Always knows exactly what will help my poor bulldogs when they are having issues, & is insanely affordable. I have never burned a hole in my pocket bigger than $50-$60 with him. My wife & I have been loyal customers for years coming all the way from Owensboro even after we left Bowling Green. To see some of these comments makes me question what they care about… how nice an office looks or the quality of care their pets receive. I will choose the latter every time & keep coming back!

If I could leave a negative response I would. The absolute rudest place of business. Does not take card readers and want to have an attitude if you aren't paying in cash then. The building looks condemned. Honestly if the outside doesn't look clean I would hate to see the inside. I was talking and was cut off twice in the middle of what I was saying. Hung up on me. Lack of caring was ridiculous. This place is an absolute last resort.
