I had a disappointing experience with Vetco Pet Clinic during my recent attempt to schedule a 3rd rabies vaccination for my pet. In the past, I’ve always found the process easy and straightforward at Petco—quick in and out, paying only for the shot. Instead went to surf paws and had amazing experience This time, after booking online, I received a call from the hospital informing me that I needed to pay an additional $70–$80 for an exam. This was extremely frustrating since I’ve done this before without any such requirement or extra fees. The inconsistency and unexpected charges left a bad impression, and I’m disappointed with how this was handled.

We’ve been bringing our 7-year-old Shorkie, Millie, to this Vetco since they opened, and we can’t recommend them enough! Her current vet, Dr. Wallace, is absolutely amazing, and the entire staff is always so friendly, professional, and welcoming. They treat Millie like she’s part of their family—so much so that she doesn’t even shake when we visit the vet anymore! We’ve had the pleasure of working with both Dr. Wallace and Dr. Stibbard, and no matter who we see, the level of care and attention Millie receives is consistently above and beyond. When we went through a stressful health scare with Millie, the staff was there for us every step of the way, which made such a difference. We also travel frequently to the mainland with Millie, and the team here always ensures we have everything we need for a safe and smooth trip. They even go the extra mile to help us get the best value for our care. The Vetco Total Care plan has been one of the best investments we’ve made for Millie—it gives us peace of mind knowing she’s in great hands.
