Our 14 year old cat started to rapidly lose weight for about three weeks. We called Surf Paws and quickly secured an appointment. Our first visit, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and ushered into a private screening room. Within a minute, our frightened cat was tended to by Dr Cristina Miliaresis. We agreed to a lab blood test to determine the cause of our cat's rapid weight loss. A few days later, we received a call by the doctor confirming that our family cat has kidney disease in need of treatment. Our next appointment was immediately confirmed. This experience is all new to me since our indoor cats have been drama free for years. The staff and doctors answered my questions, explained our cat's options in an easy to understand manner and treated us with professionalism. I'm glad we called Surf Paws. We want compassionate care for our mature cat during her remaining time with us.

The most "ethical" and honestly priced veterinarian clinic you can go to is here. My fur baby is a 5lb Pomeranian and I have been so happy with this vet practice! We saw both Dr. Kristina and Dr. Kingsly, both incredibly knowledge and caring. You can clearly see that ALL these folks are in it for the dogs and their owners. Really impressed, and I'm hard to impress! Thanks for taking care of all our babies! :)

We just moved to the island with our dog and cat and needed to establish a new vet. Our vet in Virginia was amazing so we were worried who would be next in line to take care of our fury kids—then we found Surf Paws…what a blessing! Located in a small plaza in Hawaii Kai behind Roy’s, this business provides exceptional veterinary services. It was super easy to make an appointment with them, and the staff from the techs to Veterinarian were extremely polite, friendly, caring, and professional. We have a rescue dog that suffers from severe PTSD and trusts no one except my wife and me—the staff had him on a table, calmed, relaxed eating treats out of their hand during the exam—that says a lot right there. If you need a great vet who cares about your pets, I highly recommend you check out surf paws. 🤙🏽

I have been a client at another local veterinary clinic for over 25 years, and I decided to move over to Surf Paws which speaks volumes in itself. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating, and are very welcoming. The overall flow, and energy of this clinic aligns with everything I want in an establishment that will provide care for my fur baby. I highly recommend them, and if you’re looking for a more cozy, comfortable, and smaller feel, this place is it!

This veterinarian Surf Paws is the best 👌 in Hawaii Kai,. It's the finest we've been to in Hawaii. The Staff is kind,caring and respectful. They have taken wonderful care of our baby Majesty since we got her at 6 months old from the Cat Cafe. She will be two years old October 1st 2022. Thank you to all the Doctor's and Staff.
