How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Graylyn Crest Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Garrick has impressed me so much with the time he is willing to spend helping me understand what my 17-year-old cat is going through and what interventions can be helpful to him. He's been compassionate, understanding, and informative and has helped to alleviate some of the stress I've experienced from watching my cat decline. Most importantly, the interventions he's recommended have helped my cat very much. Thank you so much Dr. Garrick. You are great.

Dr.Garrick was very good with our cat Misha, he thoroughly checked her teeth and her eyes. Also the vet techs were so gentle with Misha, she didn't even notice they were drawing her blood samples. There is a lot of love at this veterinary office.

Came here for a second opinion for my dog’s ear. Entire staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Switching over to this practice as our primary vet! Very pleased! They are all wonderful here! Dr. Garrick and his vet techs (Stephanie and Lindsay) went above and beyond to help my little pup! Highly recommend this practice! Thanks guys!

My cat Mo is a rescue with major tude and deep hatred for meds and vet visits. Despite this, Dr.Garrick and Stephanie have been wonderful in their interaction with him and thorough in the development of various treatment plans. Thanks for saving my boy Doc. I thought I was going to lose him. Will be scheduling a follow up soon

I took my cat here for an ear infection. The staff was very kind, friendly, considerate, and gentle. Both the doctor and the pother staff did a wonderful job of explaining to me what was going on with my pet and treated her as if she was their own pet. I could tell they knew what they were doing and seemed very experienced. I called for a follow up question a day or two later and they were clear and helpful then as well. I will definitely be taking all my pets here from now on!
