How to Save on Veterinary Costs at SOCAL Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

So relieved that I found this vet! They are very kind, communicative, and knowledgeable. The prices are also very reasonable, which is a plus of course. I took my kitten Loki in to be seen and they were more than helpful in addressing all of my concerns and also handling Loki with love and care! I’ll be bringing my other kitties in here for check ups for sure.

So happy I found them! Dr. Vickie was awesome and the rest of the staff were great. They made us feel so comfortable and cared for. I was told by another vet my dog needed emergency surgery and he wanted to change $4200 after I’d already spent $1000 that day. I brought my dog here for a second opinion and they were able to help without surgery and actually listened and talked through the options with me. 10/10 recommend.

Out of all the vet hospitals I have been to over the years for my dogs I’ve never been to a better one than So Cal Veterinary Clinic. They took care of my entire beauceron litter & are AlWAYS so kind, professional and try to “fit me in to the schedule” when I need something asap. Thank you to Dr. Vickie & the entire So-Cal staff for always being so kind and helpful to my dogs. I will be taking my entire crew here from now on!

Every single staff member here is amazing! I am an anxious, first-time dog owner of a handicapped Bichon and not only do they take amazing care of my buddy, they are also incredibly patient and understanding with me. I cannot recommend this office enough.

SOCAL Veterinary has been great Dr. Vickie Swarowski is the best Veterinary I have ever known! She helped me with my last dog and called out his cancer before any other vet did. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but also intuitive and caring. Every technician has been helpful, and hands on to get the job done with my shy girl. The front desk has been great too, friendly and has great advice! SOCAL veterinary helped to show me how to give my dog shots by myself. Unfortunately, the adequan didn't work for my dog and her arthritis is still very bad. But I trust that SOCAL Veterinary is there to help us on our journey.
