Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin

I’m very glad to have found Animal Urgent Care Rocklin. My 15 year old pup was having an arthritis issue -not an emergency- but needed urgent care.. on a Sunday of course. We were seen right away, everyone was super friendly, they were gentle with her, understanding and informative with me. The facility was immaculate and comfortable. Prescriptions were available on the spot. The price was reasonable and cheaper than the local ER choices. They went above and beyond with her care. I wish they could be her regular Vet.

This clinic is fantastic! Both of my dogs have utilized it this year as it seems it has become near impossible to get a next day, let alone a same week appointment at our primary vet. Our first experience was an abscess drainage and sticker removal for my Aussie... on a Saturday! Dr. Bernal was able to assess the situation quickly and complete the surgery within a few hours. I had a few questions once we got home and the receptionist was so kind and eased my anxiety and even followed up the next day to see how he was. He healed beautifully. Our second experience was with my aged Yorkie. His back and hind end pain became pretty severe, refusing to eat and barely standing... on a Tuesday at 7pm. I called the clinic and they told me they would remain open and wait for us (we are 30 min away) that night to arrive, which was a complete blessing! Dr. Bernal assessed him quickly and was able to manage his pain with some new medications to tide him over until we could get in with our primary vet the following week. Reasonable prices and friendly staff! I have been recommending this place to everyone I know. Thank you for taking care of my boys!

We are very impressed with the service and quality of care provided by Animal Urgent Care. Our dog had gastrointestinal distress and we are new in the area so we didn’t have a vet. We needed her to be seen quickly. We were able to fill out the online form in advance, and when we arrived we had a quick check in and were assisted by the vet tech right away. The whole staff was really helpful and courteous, and Dr. Bernal was very knowledgeable and reassuring. He evaluated our dog, explain our options and provided us with a treatment plan and medications before we left. The whole process took about an hour and we would highly recommend AUC Rocklin to anyone needing urgent care for their pet.

I'm very grateful and appreciative of the team at AUC of Rocklin! My dog Axel suffered a pretty gnarly bite from another dog while in Nevada City. There were no other vets that could take us so we drove the hour to Rocklin. The team was incredible - super quick and thorough intake. They walked us through the procedure and covered any specific questions related to our dog's medical history. Our dog's procedure ended up going past their closing time but they didn't seem to mind as they walked us through the procedure and his ongoing care. Thank you so much, AUC of Rocklin! I will forever be singing your praises. And while I hope I never need your services again, I will happily come back for the amazing care. Axel also says thank you! He's doing very well, drain is out and looking good so far!

This was my first experience at Animal Urgent Care of Rocklin. It exceeded all my expectations!! I didn’t want to take my dog to an ER over the weekend, because we didn’t have an emergency, but I needed him to be seen quicker than our primary vet could get us in. The girl at the front desk of the urgent care took down my information over the phone and was expecting us when we walked through the front door. She was very welcoming and kind. In fact, all people I came into contact with here were kind. They treated my dog like family. I was seen quickly by the vet, who took the time to explain everything to me and made sure all my questions were answered. He was able to give me a diagnosis and treatment in under 30 minutes of walking through the door! The girl at the front desk went over my dog’s medications with me before we left, which I appreciated. Equally as important, the cost did not break the bank!! Like an ER visit would have. From start to finish, my visit here was seamless. I will be returning again when necessary, and I will highly recommend this place to all fellow dog parents in this area!!
