Very overpriced and poor care for our pets. Took one of our dogs to have him evaluated and he was given antibiotics. The next afternoon his symptoms worsened so we wanted him rechecked. VCA sent us another estimate that was almost double what we had paid already with the first visit to recheck our pet! Terrible experience. We will not return.

Took my cat there for grooming as her fur was matted. Also saw the vet for lab work. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and my kitty looks so cute with her new hair cut!

Terrible rip off. Paid almost $200 to have our dog’s nails cut and a cursory exam. He needed his shots updated and that didn’t happen. They said better to wait until the following visit? Attempted to sell us on another hefty charge for unnecessary labs. Will not be returning.

I visited your facility last Saturday to make the difficult decision to put my dog down. Although the veterinarian was very kind and compassionate, my negative review is only because I did not so much as receive a card of sympathy, which is extremely disappointing. I had previously taken my dog for years to a VCA in Laguna Niguel and they were always wonderful. I was referred to the Irvine location due to being booked. I’m still very much in mourning the loss of my beloved dog and thought it would have been a genuine sign of compassion had I received a card or at the very least a quick phone call from the staff. I’m hopeful it does happen sometime soon.

I came to here because we thought we can trust VCA. But there are a few reasons that we won't come here again. 1) The price quote for neutering differs by $400 when we decided to come for a neutering two months later; there is actually other hidden cost 2) when we came to clarify, the receptionist was unable to provide a good reason, he said "probably it's because of the weight" and my pup's weight actually decreased. If you can't provide a reason, how do you expect people to trust you with their dogs? If you don't know it, because be nice and admit it rather than giving a false hypothesis! 3) This place always tries to upsell things you don't need. We ended up removing at least $150 of items we don't need 4) They kept us waiting for more than 30mins in the room without giving us any updates; 5) I kept hearing dogs crying & barking at the back, I wish I could see what's going on at the treatment place or my dog can tell me what happened!
