How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Services
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I don't like sharing negative experiences but everyone who has loving pets should be aware of this place. My cat was a oldie but goodie. He was family to us. When he became very ill I initially took him to the veterinary. They did what they could but suggested to take him the vet emergency in Fremont. When I showed up the first thing they shared with me the range of cost. Between $2500 to $3900. I was in distraught emotionally already, now I had to include this large cost. The way they spoke to me as if the cared. It was all an act. They played on how I was feeling and worked me good. They said in a phony false voice...oh we can do this or that and the cost was shooting upward. At the same time I began crying see my cat suffering. The vet gave my cat relief for one day. The next day their telling me we can do surgery but...I felt taken advantage of in the situation I was end. They didn't give a dam as long they had their hands in my pocket adding to the cost. I ended up total $5000 between the first vet in Union City and this place called Beacon Veterinary emergency in Fremont. Beware folks!
