How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Clayton Valley Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Cannot believe these people are still in business. If Deborah Aparicio ever leaves they might have a chance. Rude and degrading to humans, rough with animals. She’s on a power trip and off whatever medication she needs and has no business interacting with the public.

Took good care of my Russell terrier mix. Did a nice job on his surgery. He walked out the same day and no problems. Unfortunately a couple months later in a different issue he had to be put down. They were very caring and did everything with love and compassion. I will go back with my next dog. Highly recommend.

For several years I have attended this Pet hospital with my cat and I am always satisfied with the service. Several bad reviews here are a great surprise for me. The doctor is always very attentive, very polite and professional staff, and prices are reasonable. I always have an appointment so can not complain that I wait for a long time, not more then 15-20 minutes, which seems also ok for me. I definitely recommend this Pet hospital!

Dr. A is incredible with animals and their owners. She is kind, compassionate, honest and truly cares. She is fair and reasonable and will never recommend a course of action that is not needed. She has been our vet for over ten years. If you were looking for a vet that you can trust to be fair and take great care of your animal I highly recommend her.

NEVER EVER GO HERE!!! Please save your pets because they will get worse if you bring them here!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. If ur gonna go to a GOOD vet please go to Oasis in Martinez. Context: I brought my pet in because they had gotten hurt, the doctor ended up absolutely berating me about how hurt my pet was and basically how it was my fault. I ended up fully sobbing in the medical room from how incredibly rude and disrespectful she was. She on multiple occasions left to go to another room but would leave the back door open, I could hear a cat screaming really loud from getting shots and every time the cat would scream she would say kinda loudly “we GET IT!!”. In the end she recommended a treatment that was actually making my pet more sick and I had to go to a different vet to get them help. I’ve talked to my friends about this hospital and the 3 of them that have gone all had horrible experiences like mine. Please save your pet and don’t ever go here !!!
