How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Yuma Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr Offenring and the staff are the best. They know our dogs and are the most caring, compassionate clinic in Yuma. When our dog became sick, eventually needing to be put to sleep, Dr Kathy cleared her schedule and sat with Alice and us throughout the process. They returned her ashes and paw prints in a beautiful box to remember. We will never take our pets anywhere else.

People complain about the high prices of vets but I believe a lot of them are worth it. The Opfenrings are a great mother-daughter team And I am very confident in the care that my dogs get there and it gives me peace of mind. You cannot go in with your dog however they come to the car and bring the dog into the clinic while you wait in your car.

They are a great vets! Took my dog there when I first moved here five years ago, and they took care of him the best. He passed away during that time, and they are the most compassionate, caring people, including their staff.

Best veterinary clinic in Yuma. They've always taken the time to fully examine my animals and make sure they're healthy. If there is an issue, they always contact me first and give me a range of options rather than just treating and billing me like other places do. Most importantly, to me is that they actually care for the animals they see, and they're not just trying to charge for unnecessary procedures.
