Dr Alcott and his team are absolutely amazing. I brought my dog to them because they were recommended by UrgentVet the previous evening. My little dog was having trouble walking and their current vet pretty much dismissed us. I explained our issue and due to a cancellation we were able to get her in that day. Dr Alcott observed how she was walking and asked us many questions that her current vet did not. Dr Alcott did an x-ray and saw that her spinal cord was compressed. It was confirmed via an MRI. Dr Alcott was able to do her surgery that day and we brought her home that evening. What a difference. She was still a bit unstable but so much better. Now, a week later she is pretty much back to normal. We really felt listened to and Dr Alcott and his team explained everything they thought was happening and we knew she was in fantastic hands. Thank you so much!!! We highly recommend this office. Also, we had a question about her wound over the weekend and Dr Birkel replied very quickly to our message and addressed our concerns.

Have been to see Dr Alcott at his sole practice (not at Veterinary Specialty Center where he formerly practiced) with 3 separate dogs, all with different issues, and he is consistently top-notch. He is kind, empathetic, gentle, compassionate, thorough, informative, thoughtful and down-to-earth. His bedside manner is professional and approachable. His office staff is efficient and skilled, helpful and friendly. The entire practice is a wonderful resource for Tucson! We are blessed to have their services available.

Dr Alcott & staff were literally the best ever. They provided me with options & explained everything in terms I was able to understand. I would recommend for sureeee. Thank you for making a difficult visit more easy 🙏🏼✨✨

They did an amazing job saving my daughters little puppy who was attacked by coyotes and was so close to death, and they were able to save him!!! Omie says thank you!!!
