How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VCA Valley Pet Resort

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We're first time pet owners and we really love this place. Dr. Meyer is the vet we've taken our puppy to. We appreciate the care and love she gives our dog when she checks on him. We've learned a lot about puppy-parenting from her. The vet's assistants are equally caring and very informative as well. We are very happy with VCA Valley Pet Resort. One other thing that is quite noticeable about this place is there is a strong Hawai'i theme present here which may not be expected in the desert but is a pleasant surprise.

Great deal for a pet stay. Seriously. No rip off, military discounts, free night every 10th stay? No complaints! Must go here to drop your pet.

Took my doggies last week since we’re from out of town, it was their first time at a doggie day care. Staff was really friendly, Amy was super nice. No problem whatsoever to register them and to pick them up. Will definitely be coming back.

BEWARE! Credit card fraud! They manually charged nearly $200 to my credit card, the day after our visit. I had paid in full at the time of our visit. How did they get my credit card number? They can’t answer that question, and they refuse to refund my money. Both times I visited this hospital, for 2 different dogs, they charged thousands of dollars and couldn’t offer any diagnosis. One of my dogs was bleeding vaginally despite being spayed years ago. Now she is bleeding again, months later, and I still don’t know why.

They did a great job caring for my 2 large barn cats. I boarded my cats for my holiday trip to the grandkids. Even though I booked in November, everyone was full. I am so grateful they kept me on a waiting list and called me back.
