This is a long overdue review for the outstanding care provided by Dr. Johnston and her team. For the past four years, they have consistently delivered exceptional and compassionate evidence-based veterinary medicine for my geriatric cats with complex medical comorbidities. Our most medically complex boy, Garfield, lived to 16 1/2 with an excellent quality of life, despite years of managing CKD, IBD, megacolon, diabetes, HTN, post-I-131 hypothyroidism, and asthma. Dr. Johnston's commitment to her patients is remarkable. She frequently worked us in for urgent care visits, significantly reducing the need for stressful and expensive emergency room trips. Dr. Johnston and her exceptional lead assistant, Lee, would efficiently triage medical issues via phone for our boys to determine if an in-office visit was necessary or if a minor adjustment could be tried first, which was tremendously helpful. Her quick approval of Chewy prescription orders was also invaluable for managing their chronic conditions. Dr. Johnston's entire team is knowledgeable, patient, and professional in every interaction. Having been to many veterinary offices across the country throughout my cats' long lives, I can confidently confirm that this office provides truly exceptional veterinary care, particularly for medically complex geriatric kitties.

Dr. Johnston is so kind and caring. She has a heart of gold. All of the ladies there are so helpful as well. They take incredible care of my kitten Tucker. He wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for the amazing staff at the Cat Hospital of Tucson.

We could not be more pleased with this vet. So much we are willing to make an hour drive to bring our cat to them. They care deeply for the pets underfoot their care, and it shows. We feel so welcome the moment we walk in, cats running safely and comfortably around the office. Cat lady heaven. The staff are all so friendly and kind. We couldn’t recommend them more. Their attentiveness is the reason our senior girl is thriving. I will tell everyone I know to bring their cat here.

Very happy with this veterinarian practice. My cat was at ease without dogs around, the staff is wonderful, the vets took so much time to explain my cat's condition and also spoke to me about my nutrition questions. They were all so kind and personable and thorough, they do not make you feel stupid for any questions you might have, they print helpful directions on their meds, give you detailed print-outs about your visit, email you info you ask for, I really can't say enough good things about this practice. Also- unlike some medical businesses I have been to, they don't try to bribe you to write a good review (I really hate that ). Would definitely recommend.

Simply an amazing clinic to bring your cat. My previous vet always had to sedate my kitty. But Cat Hospital staff were able to examine him and get his blood! He was calm. The doctor was so thorough in her exam caught some concerns on the size of my cats kidneys and lab work did show early kidney failure. But with this team I am sure as the doctor said we can manage his kidneys and keep him happy and healthy! 💙😀
