How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Visiting Vet Mobile Animal

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I have taken my dogs to Ann for 10 years. She’s thoughtful, kind, attentive, good with my dogs, and generous with her time. I have the utmost confidence in her ability to diagnose and treat my babies, as I have been 100% satisfied every time I leave. I feel so blessed to have her as my vet, knowing she has our best interest at heart.

Love the comfort for my overly anxious dog in being seen on his turf! Both Dr. and her assistant seem to genuinely love their patients and are patient and kind with my baby. Only wish they were more accessible via phone at times. But overall--we are more than satisfied with their services.

Let me preface this by stating the we have had this vet come to our home for years, and that we actually really enjoy this vet and think she is wonderful. Our review and poor experience is based on the male assistant she now has that is completely disrespectful. Apparently, he works with animals and trains them, albeit, Ive know plenty of trainers and none treat animals in this manner. I have a non typical golden that does not like men. We tried to educate him on this and he ignored what was said. He then tried to force her where he wanted, in my opinion in an abusive aggressive manner, while she tried to run away. He then was condescending and disrespectful in our home and told us she didn’t have to be seen when we tried to politely intervene. We told him that’s fine we’ll take her to someone else. Now, you are in our home. With our animals that are like our children. I am a medical professional and have initials after my name. And I promise you that I treat every patient as an individual and respect what they tell me because not everything I’ve seen in books is accurate. This man thought he knew everything and could treat my dog as anyone and that does not work for her. I promise you if I walked into a persons home and chose to treat their atypical child how I wanted without caress or finesse I’d be told to leave and be reported really quick. I’m truly disappointed by this experience because the vet is wonderful. Now, if any of you read this and feel I’m absurd, I respect that and this vet is currently for you.

Vet is great but assistant, Christina, is ugly, rude and disrespectful . in her recent interactions with me. Don't need the drama in my life. Will report her 2 Dr Ferens personally!

I am so thankful for Visiting Vet Dr Ferens! My old girl was spared the anxiety inducing visit to a vets office. Dr Ferens was gentle and thorough.
