With every pet insurance policy we generate, we do our bit to help less fortunate animals across Canada and the U.S. by making a donation to one of our chosen animal charities or rescue centres.
How it works
If you visit an insurer’s website, request a quote and buy an pet insurance policy via Pet Insurance Review, the insurer pays us a small amount for making the introduction. That money allows us to invest in improving our site and online community, as well as enabling us to donate 5% of our total revenue to one of our chosen animal charities.
Every policy protects a pet, and helps a suffering animal, so you can help us to help them by using our site. Not only will you find the best policy options for you and your pet, you’ll also help an animal in need.
Who do we support?
As pet parents ourselves, we understand the importance of making a lifelong commitment to all cats and dogs. We support the principles and goals of the 1944 No-Kill Movement.
- North Shore Animal League America is the largest and most comprehensive no-kill rescue and adoption organization in the world. They have over 2,000 shelter partners across the U.S. and the globe, committed to saving and rehabilitating homeless companion animals. Animal League America have also introduced innovative lifesaving best practices, designed to educate the public.
- Canadian Federation of Humane Societies represents the largest animal welfare community in Canada, bringing together humane societies and SPCAs across the country. Acting as Canada’s voice for animal welfare, they work to end animal cruelty, improve animal protection and promote the humane treatment of all animals.
Over the course of the year, we’ll be sharing updates of how our donations have been spent and the impact Pet Insurance Review has made on the animal community. You can hear about our work through updates in our blog, social media and by signing up to our e-newsletter.
