Animal Hospital Of Centerton

Centerton Animal Hospital has done a great job of taking care of Miss Amy. I appreciate the doctors' love and concern they show for my precious family member. No one in that office has trivialized the things going on with her, nor have they made me feel like I'm overly concerned. They also did a great job with my precious Mindy throughout the end of her life. I love it and I love them!

I write this not in anger, but in grief, hoping no one else experiences what we did. My dog Oliver passed away from congestive heart failure. I wasn’t looking for aggressive treatment or to prolong his life unnaturally—I didn’t even want medication unless it was truly needed. But in his final days/hours, when his lungs were full of fluid and his tongue had turned blue, he was clearly suffering. I asked for furosemide—not to save him, but to ease his breathing. It was denied. I was told the medication could affect his kidneys. But his kidneys weren’t shutting down—his lungs were. The decision to do nothing in that moment, when he was gasping for air, felt more like protocol than compassion. To make matters worse, I was told he needed a rabies vaccine despite his visible decline. It felt like bureaucracy was being prioritized over mercy. I wasn’t trying to extend his life—I just didn’t want him to suffer unnecessarily. I had already lost his brother, Sam, due to a silent pet food recall—followed by overmedication at another clinic, where I later discovered there were financial kickbacks and incentives influencing care. I came here guarded, but hopeful. And I left carrying the weight of another painful goodbye—knowing that even at the end, comfort was withheld. Please, if you’re facing the last moments of your pet’s life, speak up. Trust your instincts. Don’t let fear or pressure silence what your heart knows is right. Our animals deserve more than policies. They deserve peace. 🕊️

I did not appreciate not being informed that Dr Hooper was no longer a veterinarian there before showing up for my pets appointment. I was informed there was a Temporary fill in veterinarian who would be seeing us. I have went to the Centerton animal Hospital for over 15 years, they should’ve had the courtesy to pick up the phone to inform me of this. I have since went elsewhere with my pets.

Terrible communication and customer service. Had an appointment for 2pm. Was seated in exam room at 2:02. No one in waiting room. At 2:25 I asked front desk if Dr’s knew I was there because no one had came in and there was a pile of pee left from the last dog. At 2:35 I came out to ask again as my appointment was for 2:00. I was told to be patient after patiently waiting 35 minutes. If someone would have said, “hey some things came up - it’s going to be 45 minutes”, then I could understand. Not going back. Going somewhere that communicates.

All i can say is Thank you to everyone at that clinic with all my heart. My dog was treated with Love and care by everyone there!
