Experience of claim submission

All my claims leading up to my deductible arrived through the portal. My 3 rd claim was a partial reimbursement and sub’s on 5/19/2023 nothing only in process. I called the end of May and asked why the woman was not helpful. I reissued and still an issue called to be sure the woman was not the same and very pleasant and most helpful. She was the reason I would give 5 stars. I believe I only gave 4. Maybe you should listen to the recording of our call and use it in training the way to do. I am also a MetLife retire.

Met Life Pet Insurance

We purchased a Met Life Pet policy for our rescue pup, Fiona, after it was offered free for 30 days at the time of adoption. The best decision we could have made! Claims processing is so quick and easy and reimbursement is direct deposited into our bank account!. More important than this amazing service is the peace of mind we have knowing our girl is covered should an emergency arise. Thank you Met Life.

Easy filing, quick reimbursement with Metlife

Over the past 30+ years, I have had 5 dogs. We adopted our current dog last year. I Received an email from the rescue organization with a link to Metlife pet insurance. We had never had pet insurance with any of our previous dogs but this policy was so comprehensive (low $250 deductible, 90% reimbursement, wellness rider covers all appointments and prescriptions--including heartworm medication--) and there was no waiting period. We decided to give it a try. I called and was told that coverage would begin immediately (our dog was scheduled to arrive in two days). Five days later, I was filing a claim. Our dog had severe diarrhea at 3 am and I brought her to the emergency room at the pet hospital. The first claim was the longest to process (several weeks) due to registering and setting up the account with my bank (funds are transferred directly in to my checking account). And I filed another claim for scheduled puppy vaccinations while the first one was still processing, so they processed them together and issued one payment. After that, it was easier. Reimbursement arrives in my account about a week after the claim is filed. All claims are filed electronically; I download the documents from the vet (itemized invoices and exam notes) and send them along with the claim. We opted for the wellness rider, which I highly recommend. Annual visits, vaccines, HER SPAY (our vet could not believe how comprehensive this coverage is. I was told that it is very rare that spaying/neutering is covered under insurance). Our policy is up for renewal this month, and I received an email that there would be a very modest (10%) premium increase, but the amount of coverage will increase as well. I am very happy that we opted for Metlife Pet insurance!

Just starting

I can’t write an honest review just yet. I have been trying to get all the information in but because her records number 108 pages, have run into a snag. Waiting for the vet’s office to try and cut the records into two parts. I don’t have a computer so kind of stuck. Will update my review later

Pet insurance

I was interested in a catastrophic pet insurance policy. I can handle the yearly planned stuff but not an auto wreck with my three border collies. so I wanted to cover a big ticket items and am ok with high deductible and cover all my dogs. They had the best policy for multiple dog with higher deductible but went up to cover everything if something occurred and involved multiple dogs. Hopefully I will never need it but I wanted to make sure I would never have to choose euthanasia because the cost to treat was too high.

The worst Pet insurance

I only wish I had read the reviews.Same problems there is what I am having.For two years I did not file any claims but my payment was drawn from my account .Filed a claim and was sent through so many run around it is ridiculous. The worst experience.Takes jumping through hoops and 15 days to process is a joke or scam I waited two years and money on a scam. If you are thinking of enrollment in this pet insurance. Two years I never filed a claim. And before care what you say to their customer service people. I am not missing anything you pay upfront And no I will not contact you to discuss anything but getting my money for no claims for two years.Contact me then .I am turning it over to my lawyer.

Easy as can be via the app.

For my first time submitting a claim via the app- easy as can be. Submission entry took only a few minutes, uploaded documents right to the app and submitted. It being my first time, of course I missed a critical document, but the app updated me quickly, I submitted it and boom- accepted and approved.
