MetLife Pet insurance has improved
File your claims properly you should have no problem . Yes we had our headaches at first but customer support listened and I have to say it is like night day now. i am very impressed . Keep up the good work

Very pleased
Overall very pleased with Met Life Only problem I’ve had so far was the required “soap” notes to process a claim Her regular vet doesn’t do them so outside of routine shots or check ups I have to take her to a vet in town that does them. I recommend everyone to them asi it is straight forward insurance that covers emergencies or major issues but also pays for her wellness.

Pet insurance claim
Took a picture of vet receipt & sent in claim to insurance provider. Also sent in S.O.A .P. Notes from vet. Mailed claim to insurance company & waited for results. Thank you!

Emergency surgery claim
The process to submit a claim was simple. I think that one thing that could be improved is communication. There was some missing documentation and instead of being alerted via email I had to dig around in the app to figure out why the process had stalled. I'm still awaiting approval of the claim, fingers crossed.

180 from the previous insurer
Having 3 dogs is already expensive, and finding affordable coverage was mind-numbing. We had another company for a few years but could only afford accident/routine care. Even then, they found a reason to deny or lowball almost every claim. Since switching to Met Life we've had one dog hospitalized and another begin treatment for lymphoma. Met Life has reimbursed exactly what we expected without nickel-and-diming us.
The claim submission is easy, the communication is prompt and we don't have to fear spending 20-25 thousand out-of-pocket as we did in prior years.

Absolutely wonderful. Thank goodness I changed providers to Met Life. They are very professional, very accommodating and very easy to submit claims. I tell all of my friends and family to get Met Life for their pets.
