Ok - I'm going to make this real simple for everyone. I researched the heck of out every company that was available and came to one conclusion - PETS BEST is the BEST for the consumer. They are the ONLY ones who offer 80 percent of the Vet's bill without any hesitation. I live in Fairfield County, Connecticut - The Richest County in the United States. Here is an example I want you to follow: You are in FFLD County - An x-ray costs 250.00. Everywhere else in the US is SO much cheaper. ANY OTHER insurance CO. will say "Well, you were charged 250.00, however, we feel that it's only worth 100.00. So they will pay 80 percent, minus the deductable. WHAT A WASTE. PETS BEST however, will not question ANY charges the Vet makes and minus your 100 deductable, they will pay 80 percent. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. SO if you want the best service, prompt responses and quick refund check, go with these guys. Compassionate, Honest and Caring. I finally had to submit a claim recently because my dog was sick. They never blinked an eye on all hefty "Fairfield County, Connecticut" charges that were incurred. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Shortly after I enrolled in the plan, it was time for my dog's wellness exam. I received accurate information when I called to ask about required paperwork and my reimbursement was processed and received in about 10 days! The part that impressed my was the emails from the EMBRACE claim reps that kept me apprised of receipt of my claim and the time frame when it would be received. SO far so good!!

We have used other insurers but due to rapidly increasing premiums, we have ended up with both our dogs on Trupanion. One of our dogs was diagnosed with Lymphoma 14 months ago. Because we had insurance, we didn't even think twice about whether or not to put him through chemotherapy. He went through many months of chemo and is still in remission. The extra time that chemo has provided him has been full of happiness and health. Trupanion has been excellent throughout the whole treatment process. It is nice to have the peace of mind that we can choose the treatment that is the best for our pet and are not limited by what we think is cheapest.

I must admit that when our vet recommended Vet Insurance I was more than a bit sceptical but no more - when I talk with fellow dog owners about my experience they are more than a bit surprised given their experience with other carriers. We have 2 standard poodles,while being very athletic,one is kinda a klutz. Our vet recommended Trupanion and we coudn't be MORE SATISFIED!!!! Your prompt and courteous service is a welcome event in this day and age!!!

I realize that, basically, pet insurance is a way of "saving up" for the worst occasions, so it isn't cheap, but it certainly is the best way to budget for those major bills - and Trupanion has promptly reimbursed me for most of my big claims.
