Due to problems with her ears, my cat, Betsy, who is 6 years old, is on prescription canned and dry food and so is my kitten, Jenni, who is almost one year old, since it wouldn't be easy to feed each of them a different diet (rabbit and peas.) Both of them are doing fine with the food....they both love it! I wish that the insurance would cover some of the cost of this prescription food as it is necessary for their health and well-being. I hope the ASPCA will reconsider at some point in the future. Also, I wish I had had this insurance for my beloved cat, Annie, who passed away last year.

I purchased Embrace last March for my English Bulldog puppy. We have never purchased pet insurance before, and researched many companies thoroughly online before deciding on Embrace. I am a professional police dog trainer and handler. Until I retired, my working dog company had over 40 dogs. We used VPI for several years on the recommendation of our vet. They were OK because we knew nothing better. Over time VPI started "nickel and diming" us over vet bills. SO I looked for another. The second company offered a better claims reimbursement, but there customer service was non-existent. Claims were SLOWWww. And they did not cover medications or physical therapy. I did some research on-line and found Healthy Paws. There 90% coverage plan for 2 dogs was $20 a month cheaper than the previous vet insurance company. Their plans cover everything we need. Claims service is amazingly fast. No quibbling over our vet bill. They just pay it—everything but the vet exam. On top of it all, one of my dogs had to have knee surgery (TPLO) recently. Someone at H-Paws sent me an email asking how Zoey was doing. How cool is that? H-Paws is impressive. I recommend it to all professional trainers and handlers, especially to police departments with K9 working dogs. Budgets are tight. They can save big bucks on their vet costs.

I have 5 cats ranging in ages from 16 years old to 2 years old. Problems seem to occur after office hours and I end up at our university vet hospital. They are very good but it is very expensive. It is an easier choice knowing I will be reimbursed for much of his or her care fairly quickly after the event. I would not want to withhold care because of the cost. That would be a horrible decision. They are my family.

Our Corgi, Amos, developed cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. Embrace has been wonderful since he was diagnosed, letting us know when they received claims, processing claims quickly and accurately, responding immediately to questions via email or phone, checking with us to make sure everything is going smoothly. Without Embrace we would be unable to treat Amos and would be utterly heartbroken. We recommend Embrace to *all* our friends/family with pets.

Very happy with this service. The rates are reasonable, and I was even able to cover an older dog. The claim forms are easy, and the refunds are quick and into your account electronically. Would definitely use them again.

I've had the insurance for a couple of years and thankfully never needed to use it until recently. Both of my cats needed to be seen for illness and injury and I was very pleased to see how much of the claims were reimbursed. I've had plenty of experience with other companies and also Embrace. By far, Embrace is far superior. When my little mix Cindy got sick suddenly, I took here to the vet ER here and they had to keep her for 3 days! Probably something she ate at the beach, but she needed IV because of vomiting and she actually nearly died. I was able to put my mind at ease and let her have the best treatment without a second thought about cost. So many times, I have friends that comment on the cost of vet treatments while their precious ones are sick or injured. I am so glad I can give her my entire attention and let Embrace worry about the cost. Cindy is fine now and she tries to stay out of mischief but, after all she is a lively little girl so we really thank God for Embrace. They will be a part of our lives for a very long time. I also hope people check out the preventative care deal. Pay ahead and get a discount for that too! How great is that. We love you Embrace!!

Zuma has had three expensive surgeries/imaging scans over the last few years. Embrace has come through for us in each of these situations. The peace of mind in knowing we have great coverage has made it easier to deal with the costs of owning a dog with medical issues, and has allowed me to focus more on her well-being than the cost of treating her.
