My dog was playing happily with 3 other dogs in a field and injured her tummy by an object left there carelessly by someone. I have insurance for myself and it is very important to give my dog Lucy the same. Because I love her so much, more then anyone, I would hate to be put in the situation should she need care I would not be able to provide for her. The altenative is to painful to even think about. I am so grateful to have medical insurance for her. Trupanion is wonderful, caring, and prompt. They care so much about our pet family. Dealing with Trupanion has been a pleasure. Everyone I have delt with over the last 3 years has been nothing but amazing. Thank you Trupanion. I would do without happily to give my Lucy mecical insurance. To know I have medical care if needed gives me peace of mind, love,respect and caring for her.

Thank you for being so on top of my reimbursements. It is so hard going through what I am experiencing with my paralyzed pup and expenses. After being a pet owner for quite some time, I finally decided to protect my furry children with pet insurance. Boy am I happy I made that decision! Knowing I had just adopted a breed that was prone to knee issues, we decided to go with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance (HPPI). And while we were covering one dog, why not the other (even though we thought we'd never need it for our other one). Just a few short months after getting coverage our Am. Bulldog had to have cruciate ligament surgery. Having HPPI was a life saver - not only did it bring us TREMENDOUS financial relief, but I wasn't stressed to the max trying to figure out how to pay for this huge vet bill. And low and behold, my other dog decided to eat a bottle of his furry brother's pain meds - and we were back to the emergency room in less than a week with another very large vet bill. They were both covered and the process to get the reimbursement was incredibly fast and easy! To top it off, I received a personalized message from the staff to check in and see how my babies were doing (talk about great customer service!). I can't say enough kind words about thsi company. It's one of the best decisions I've made as a pet owner and will be a HPPI customer for life! Highly recommend thier services to any pet owner - because you never know when you'll need some extra financial support!

We have been with Trupanion for the last two years with our three dogs which has been costing us 325.00 a month. We have had 7-8 problems with the dogs since being with Trupanion and they have wesseled out of every claim possible with every excuse in the book. The latest one is a claim pre approval was for a cruciate tear. Their excuse is they don't cover it because it happened in the other leg. We all know insurance is just another name for scam artist, but at least with car insurance they take the deductable, pay the claim and raise rates, not supply expensive rates, claim 90% paid on all claims and then come up with every excuse and disclaimer possible to get out of paying. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you have money to waste.
