Compassionate

Amazing Vet. A real lifesaver. For how horrible the attack was for my son and dog we are very grateful. Trupanion has made the refund process easy. Thank you

Amazing

I cannot say enough great things about embrace. They have exceeded all our expectations. There has been none ( ZERO) of the typical insurace carrier nit-picking. They give us timely updates on our claims, have issued quick reimbursements and even follow up with us making sure our puppy is feeling better. I wish I had coverage this good for myself. I highly recommend.

lies lies lies

we have a golden doodle who is 8 yrs old. she has been in excellent health and we have a new great dane puppy coming home in a week. took lola (golden doodle) to the vet for her annual checkup and everything was great. decided we would get insurance for her. signed up with embrace, was asked to have vet complete the orthopedic form and that way she would be covered 30 days later for anything ortho. done. we got the insurance the day after her exam thinking that way they would know she was in good health, this was 3 weeks ago. called today to add the new puppy and found out that now they wont cover any orthopedic for lola for 6 months since we had the checkup done the "day before" we signed up for insurance. she has NEVER and i repeat NEVER had any ortho or medical problems at all. was told that if it was 2 days before things would be fine... huh??asked more questions.. people apparently didnt know what they were talking about with any other conditions and getting confirmation if they would even cover an ear infection etc. they offered NOTHING. so i cancelled the policy. i certainly didnt get any good vibes from them. i suggest you ask TONS of "what if" questions before signing.

Absolutely Amazing

My pup Lucy started out with vomiting and other nasty things. It graduated to her being lethargic and not eating. On our third trip to the vet, Lucy had a fever of 105.3 and her liver numbers were ridiculously high. She was hospitalized immediately and remained there for four days. She's getting better but her liver numbers are still elevated. We are still seeing the vet on a frequent basis for monitoring. Working with Embrace has been SO easy. The claims can be submitted electronically and, so far, all communication has been via e-mail, which I like. Of course I could call in if I preferred to communicate that way. I used another insurance company for one year and then moved to Embrace and I am SO happy I made the move. Embrace is great!

Great communication!

I have had an Embrace policy for my Lab, Tyson, since we brought him home 3 years ago. I have found the customer service to be terrific and easy to follow.

Treatment for Pancreatitis

During December of 2012, My dog, "Phoebe", became ill and was diagnosed with Moderate Pancreatitis. She was very ill and in January of 2013 she relapsed and had to be treated again. She had to be hospitalized several times and between December of 2012 and throughout January of 2013, she had to be treated by the Vet with medications and there were several visits and stays at the hospital. Phoebe has recovered and thankfully Trupanion did cover the expenses that were allowed within the boundaries of my policy. Initially when I submitted the claims, Trupanion refused the claim based on an incident that Phoebe was treated for in 2010. Trupanion explained that there was the possibility that the problem in 2010 could have been a preexisting condition, therefore my claims for Phoebe were not eligible for coverage for the Pancreatitis. I immediately notified the company that I would appeal their decision. I spoke with the Veterinarian that took care of Phoebe in 2010 and he told me that he treated Phoebe for Gastroenteritis and that she had no symptoms at that time that would have indicated Pancreatitis, that the cause was from things that the dog had ingested and her digestive tract was reacting to it. He treated the upset and it cleared up and until December of 2012, she had no more problems with her stomach or digestive system. I obtained a letter from the Vet who treated Phoebe in 2010 explaining to Trupanion what Phoebe had been treated for(Gastroenteritis)

Professional ,sympathetic prompt in payment

I was overwhelmed emotionally and financially by my dogs sudden catastrophic illness. Embrace answered the phone, all questions and put no impediments in his immediate treatment. They have paid exactly what they are supposed to pay and by direct deposit making it all seem much easier. I am impressed and thrilled with this company.
