Pet Stat Animal Urgent Care

This veterinary urgent care showed us the upmost kindness, respect, and high quality care. We brought our dog Hudson here after getting in an accident. Despite it being close to closing, they saw us with a smile and we deeply appreciated their professionalism and warm demeanor. We will be returning without doubt if we ever have other needs!

I want to give a huge shout-out to Dr. Payne and the entire staff at the clinic! I cannot recommend them enough. I brought my baby, Leo, into the clinic after another vet was unable to diagnose him and had sent us home with just some fluid, antibiotics, and anti-nausea tablets. After a couple of days of him not eating and being lethargic, we decided to come to Pet Stat. The staff was incredibly friendly and compassionate, even though my husband and I were filled with anxiety. You can tell that everyone there has a genuine love for animals and truly cares for them. Just the way Dr. Payne took the time to sit on the floor with Leo made us feel like we were in good hands. Dr. Payne reviewed the previous blood work and asked us about Leo's history without any judgment. Almost immediately, he was able to identify what was wrong with Leo—something that two other vets had missed. The symptoms were vague but had been present since he was just a couple of months old. He stayed for fluids until the end of the day, and the next day, we returned for more fluids and additional testing. When Leo came back home, he ate for the first time in five days, and I was ecstatic. We brought him back the following day to see if he needed more fluids, and the test results came back positive, confirming Dr. Payne's suspicion. We are so thankful that we got the diagnosis in time, as it helped prevent Leo from going into an Addisonian crisis. Dr. Payne explained everything that had transpired and what our plans would look like going forward very thoroughly. His discharge notes each night were detailed and informative, including a treatment plan. We will forever be grateful. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic! My Great Dane, Karma, hurt all of her paws badly on a hike yesterday and was in a lot of pain. I was devastated and called the clinic as soon as they opened this morning (on a Sunday!). To my relief, they were able to get us in within an hour to see Dr. Payne. From the moment we walked in, every single person was so kind, compassionate, and helpful. Dr. Payne was absolutely fantastic - he explained everything clearly and took the time to make sure I understood the plan. After examining Karma’s paws, he recommended sedation so they could remove the ripped skin and properly clean the wounds. Of course I was nervous about leaving her, but I truly felt like I was putting her in the best possible hands. A few hours later, I picked her up and she already looked so much better than before. The care and attention they gave her went above and beyond. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their patients. To top it off, the cost was very reasonable given everything that needed to be done. I am beyond grateful for how quickly they were able to see Karma and get her the treatment she needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart-you turned a really scary situation into one where I felt supported and reassured every step of the way. Highly, highly recommend this clinic!

What a wonderful facility. From the front desk to the tech to the vet, all caring, smart and attentive. Our pup Olive had acute onset GI upset and she was treated with the utmost care and attention. Very detailed exam and follow up. I have such peace of mind knowing this office is right up the road. Thank you all for the wonderful care you provide. It is greatly appreciated.

Dr. Payne and his staff treated my cat Finn with the ultimate care and love. Dr. Payne talked to us about everything he would do for Finn to help him. He is incredible. The staff also showed so much love and care for him. I’m incredibly grateful to have been a patient with Dr. Payne. He is amazing. We stayed until he knew how to treat Finn. I am truly grateful for them.
