I had such a wonderful experience at GoodVets with my pup Naomi! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and Naomi was even treated to some healthy snacks right at the door—which she loved! The facility itself is incredibly clean, well-organized, and calming. It gave me immediate peace of mind. The team was not only professional but also extremely informative. They took their time explaining every detail about Naomi’s visit and care options, without ever making me feel pressured to make any decisions or pay for anything unnecessary. I really appreciated that transparency and compassion. Everyone was so sweet to Naomi, and it was clear they truly care about the well-being of their patients. She was happy, relaxed, and loved all the attention. Honestly, I left feeling confident that I’ve found our new forever vet home. We had a really pleasant experience here as first-time pet owners. Making an appointment was very easy, and the inside is welcoming and clean. It was nice having our own cat room to wait in and let our girl out of the carrier safely. Everyone who helped us and looked at our cat was so friendly and caring. They answered our questions and made us feel like we're doing things right, which we needed to hear! My only gripe is about pricing, which isn't transparent until you specifically ask. The pre-visit email said to bring a fecal sample, but didn't mention the cost for a fecal test would be $96. As first-time pet owners, we just didn't know things like that. We also asked for a nail-clipping demo and that was $33, which is fine, but you don't get told about the costs until you're checking out. Having the $50 off a first-time visit was nice, but now we know more about what to expect in the future. I'm happy this office is nearby, and I hope we don't have to go too often but I'll feel good about going when we do need to.

My cat, like many, gets pretty anxious at the vet, but the staff here were very understanding of her tolerance and did all the required shots and blood work very quickly with minimal drama. She's a tortie though, so of course there was SOME drama. Very clean, brand new facility in a great central location. Downtown has been needing a vet!

My daughter and I had a great experience at this location. It is very convenient for us and I am glad one was open near us. Our cat, Miku, was a little scared and nervous as first and being an little explorer but he did very good on his first appointment. They made us feel welcome and explained everything to us. They were very professional and knowledgeable about everything pertaining to his health.

I had my first visit with GoodVets Silver Spring today, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! I brought in my two cats for their annual exams and rabies vaccinations. Jess, our veterinary technician, was amazing—thorough, kind, and incredibly patient. My cats tend to be pretty anxious at the vet, but both Jess and Dr. O’Berry were so gentle and calm with them, which made a huge difference. Dr. O’Berry performed a very detailed exam and provided thoughtful, easy-to-follow instructions. I also want to give a shoutout to the front desk staff—though I didn’t catch her name, the woman working the desk was so friendly and helpful. The office itself is modern, spotless, and in a super convenient location. Highly recommend GoodVets Silver Spring!
