I want to thank healthy paws for actually covering what was promised. We originally had aspca pet insurance from the day we got him and in the first few months he became sick and constantly had diarrhea. We had to bring him in the middle of the night and spent $600 at the emergency vet. Although we had a 90% plan, they didn't even cover 40% of the bill. Additionally, aspca insurance had a higher monthly fee. We read reviews on healthy paws and switched.

For the vomiting a few weeks ago, we were nervous as the bill was almost $600 for our first visit and then around $1500 for the second. We didn't want to have to choose between our dogs care and coming up with $2000 from our savings or credit cards.

I filed the claims for the two visits within literally 2-3 minutes using the iPhone app. We were so relived to see the processed claim showed that healthy paws actually covered what they said they would. We were thankful that Ollie was able to go to what is considered the best emergency veterinary hospital in New England and get the best care. He was monitored 24/7 during his hospital stay. We were able to say ok to his X-rays, ultrasound and when the doctor recommended he stay another night in the hospital we could do so without adding any financial stress to ourselves.

We love our dog like he is part of our family and just want to thank healthy paws for following through on your promise & covering what they say they will cover.

Our WPG was bit on the nose by a rattlesnake while we were camping at Lake Roosevelt. We rushed him to the emergency vets in Spokane where he was given treatment. After getting the bill I was a little scared about how much was going to be covered and how big of a hassle it was going to be. When I got home I submitted the claim and hoped for the best. I was shocked when I got a response in less than 30 minutes saying that our claim was approved and even more shocked when I saw the amount that was covered. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

My dog ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and had Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. When I called healthy paws to discuss the procedure that was recommended by my vet, they answered every question and concern that I had and with no hesitation told me absolutely that is covered. After his surgery I received emails that were so sincere, asking me how my dogs recovery is coming along.
They have gone above and beyond my expectations!
I will always have Healthy Paws for my pets..

10/10   Best Decision We've Made, 6/3/2016

Healthy paws has been amazing for our dog over the past two years. We got it immediately upon bringing our standard bernedoodle home at 8 week in June of 2014. We have made three claims for Finn over the years. All three (though they varied in amount and type) were paid within just a couple of days, and were a breeze to submit. Our dog is repeat sock eating offender, and when he had to have surgery to remove one, Healthy Paws paid our claim quickly and saved us from having thousands in credit card debt. They even reached out personally to see how Finn was doing, and make sure he was okay. The personal service is spectacular, and their coverage options are great. We're actually bringing home a new puppy next week, and will have Healthy Paws covering him from day one. While the monthly fee may not be something that is fun to pay, having the comfort that when we need them most, they will be there is worth every penny. I recommend them to all of our friends and family, and there won't be a day that goes by that our pups aren't protected by Healthy Paws.
