Our very active young CBR recently pulled up a rear leg and stopped using it. We found one of her toes was very swollen and the nail was split. Her vet was sure the toe was broken. Fortunately it was not broken, but was infected.
I filed a claim and when I received a response, noticed one prescription was not included. I called and spoke with the nicest rep who quickly found the problem and took care of it.
Whenever I have contacted Embrace, about anything, they have always been courteous, pleasant, and upbeat. It is nice and much appreciated!

10/10 I recommend Embrace to our Bark Park friends, 5/3/2013

Last summer our dog Penny's face swelled terribly, and her breathing became labored from a possible bee sting. A trip to an ER Vet fixed her up, and Embrace quickly applied the bill to her deductible.
Late in the year Penny could not keep her food down for several days. Her vet was able to resolve the issue after a two day stay. About this same time Penny began having bladder issues. This was resolved as well.

7/10 Buyer beware - not for routine healthcare, 5/3/2013

We had a $177 routine checkup and ear infection bill for our otherwise healthy 3 1/2 year old Golden, which we dutifully submitted. After having the vet send several years of doctor's notes to Embrace, we finally got "reimbursed." Out of the $177, only $26.40 were eligible and were applied towards the $500 annual deductible.
It turns out that only the ear infection antibiotic was covered. The heartworm test, heartworm preventative, and fecal test... all disallowed. So, this insurance is really for catastrophes and serious injuries, not for routine doctor visits. We hope that we don't ever have to use it.

All Wellness claims have been received and paid in a very timely manner. E-mails from the company are friendly sounding. Paperwork is easy to complete. After being a insurance broker for 45 years I know a good carrier and this is one. Have had coverage for 2 yrs. in second year have had my first claim . They did a professional job . This is my first go round with pet insurance, and I got into it a little late in the game (after my dog was already having some health issues). Embrace was the ONLY pet insurance company I could find that would even consider covering a pre-existing condition if it was considered curable. 8/10 Good reimbursements,
I am in the health insurance business - but on the people side. When choosing a pet insurance, I did NOT want a scheduled plan such as VPI has. This type of plan pays a VERY small amount on what is typically a MUCH higher claim amount. 9/10 Great customer service,
This is my first experience with Pet Insurance, and so far, I'm very pleased. They don't have the integrated website features that other companies have, but this is more than made up for with the very responsive customer service. 9/10 Great Coverage, Decent reimbursement Time,
I’ve had Embrace Pet Insurance for just over a year. I have 2 of my pets insured, about to insure a 3rd. Over all, the company is great! They have awesome customer service, have never had an issue with coverage, and although pricier than others, I find it to cover more than other companies.
