Snake bite claim
I honestly couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. I had completely forgotten that I had pet insurance on my three dogs. In fact, it wasn’t until I saw the upcoming premium charge at the end of the month that I remembered I had the coverage! That turned out to be such a blessing. My nine-pound little Lulu was bitten by a cottonmouth snake here in North Florida, and we were so grateful that she survived. The veterinary bill was extremely expensive, and I wasn’t even sure what my insurance coverage included. Filing the claim was incredibly easy. I was able to do everything right from my phone by simply taking pictures and submitting the information. The process was so convenient and stress-free, especially during what was already a very stressful situation. And then you came through! You reimbursed after my copay and the covered percentage and paid the difference, which was such an unexpected relief. Knowing that Lulu was able to survive such a frightening experience was already a huge blessing. Having insurance that I had forgotten about turn around and help with such a large veterinary bill was the added gift. Thank you for making the claims process so easy and for providing the peace of mind that comes with knowing my dogs are protected. I’m definitely grateful I remembered that premium charge!
Tearing up when seeing such a prompt claiming assistance
My cat is currently undergoing lymphoma treatment, and he is absolutely my everything. Going through this is not only incredibly expensive, but it is also completely heartbreaking. I can barely hold back my tears every time we have to see the doctor. During this painful time, the only real support I have found is from my friends and from my insurance, Pets Best. I am eternally grateful to you guys. I could never have imagined feeling so supported, and because of your help, I am truly looking forward to my pet's recovery. Hershey owes his life to Pets Best!
Hershey is my precious Emotional support Cockapoo and I just couldn't imagine him being gone at only 6! Luckily we had Pets Best insurance and we were able to get the best care possible for a tumor pressing on his vena cava and probably Cancer 😭 but, Dr Fontes @ OSU was able to remove it and it wasn't cancer, our baby came home and is doing well, Thanks To having pet insurance, you know she never know, grateful for sure!

This company is dishonest and shady
They denied my dogs claim of a hotspot because he had an ear infection six years earlier. They said it was a pre-existing condition. It was the first hotspot he ever had in his life and we’ve been with them since he was a puppy. Once he turned seven, the premium skyrocket to where I had to add $1000 deductible so I’m paying close to $2400 a year just to be able to submit a claim that is reimbursable. I will be dropping them. Do yourself a favor and just take the premium and put it in a little savings account for when/if you need it. it will also save you a lot of frustration every time you submit a claim they want the full medical records and they rely on you to get it. Just very disappointed.

Four Years of Great Experiences with Pets Best
We have had Pets Best for more than four years, and it has been a really positive experience for our family. We first enrolled Kodak, our older Vizsla, in the plan. About a year later, we added Mia, our younger Vizsla, and as we have adopted more pets, we have continued to add them to our policy. We now have two dogs and three cats covered by Pets Best. Our pets are truly part of our family, so having insurance that helps us provide them with the care they need is very important to us. The recent claim I filed was for Mia's Revolution treatment. I submitted the claim on September 13, 2026, and received the payment just two days later, on September 15. The total bill was $152.60, and Pets Best paid $80.00 through our EssentialWellness plan. The whole process was easy, quick, and straightforward. The information was clear, and I could easily understand how the claim was processed and what portion was covered. I really appreciated not having to spend a lot of time figuring things out. We have continued with Pets Best for more than four years because we have been very satisfied with the service. As our family of pets has grown, we have felt confident adding each new member to our coverage. Knowing that we have that support gives us peace of mind and allows us to focus on taking good care of our pets when they need veterinary care. This experience with Mia's claim was another example of why we have been so happy with Pets Best.

I had taken my Alfie for his exam at his Vet's office and shortly after I got home I sent in on line his statements! There were a few questions, I then I attached statements and it was done so easily without any confusion! My check was in my checking account within 2-3 days! Petsbest is a company I can trust!
