"What was supposed to be a simple neuter for my pet turned into a frightening emergency visit 5 days later. A second surgery was needed at a cost of $1500! I paid with my Care Credit card and submitted my paid invoice to Pets Best. Pets Best covered nearly ALL of it and sent the payment to my Care Credit account before my pets 14 day healing period was even over!!! Thankful for we have this insurance!!!"

"While I feel the claims coverage is fair, I feel the increase in premiums each year I have to file a claim is predatory. Blaming it on "a greater use of modern veterinary medicine" is just a fancy way of saying because you used your coverage, we are going to make sure you pay loads more. From $191/qtr to $317/qtr should be criminal but here we are. At least my furbaby is still alive. "

Any denied claim has been clear as to why and any non covered expense on the emergency visit and illnesses is very clear. I'll be with Pet's Best as long as I have my sweet little dog. FROM THE FIRST CLAIM AT 8 WEEKS OLD TO THE NEWEST AT 11 MONTHS OLD THE DECISIONS ARE A JOKE. CUSTOMER SERVICE, A JOKE, NOBODY STATES THE SAME INFORMATION. GETTING A HOLD OF A REP- A JOKE. THINGS THAT STATE CLEARLY YOU GET REINBURSED GET DENIED. SURGERY. DENIED. WELLNESS COVERAGE DENIED. AFTER FIGHTING LIKE A LUNATIC A $3000 BILL, YOU WILL GET YOUR $150 SPAY NEUTER REFUND. BUT IF YOU HAVE FLEA AND TIC MEDICATION, THAT THEY PAY YOU, BUT NOT RIGHT AWAY. WORST DECISION I MADE. AND MIND YOU. 2 DOGS PAYING WAY OVER $200/ MONTH FOR THE INSURANCE. BIG J-O-K-E! OH AND YOU CANT CANCEL UNTIL AFTER A YEAR.

"Pets Best are the best! The process was easy on our end. We requested an itemized statement and emailed a copy to Pets Best. At that point we stepped back awaiting the deposit to appear in our checking account."

We have spent thousands of dollars on Pets Best monthly premiums. They have not approved ANY procedure our dog has had. Do not walk, but run from this company!
Consistent positive experiences
I am so grateful a friend recommended PetsBest insurance to me when I adopted my dog. At the time, she was healthy and I was hesitant to spend money on monthly premiums for something I wasn't sure I would need. Unfortunately, my dog has developed several significant health issues (orthopedic, allergies) in the two years since she joined our family. PetsBest insurance has been wonderful - the process of filing claims is clear and the time required to process and payout claims is very reasonable. I would do anything to get my dog the care she needs, regardless of the cost. Having insurance definitely eases financial stress of paying for her veterinary care and lets me focus more on helping her get well. I have recommended PetsBest to others and will continue to do so.

I switched to Pets Best about 3 years ago and one of my dogs has had the worst luck medically. They've covered IVDD surgery, hydrotherapy and laser therapy after that for healing. They've covered a misdiagnosis of a terminally ill brain disease and all the tests and specialists that came with that and now his more recent dx of cushings disease and the tests, meds and vet visits that are required monthly for that. If I didn't have the security of pet insurance, I would have had to rethink treatment many times for my boy and who knows if he'd even be alive today because of that! These guys have been amazing throughout the years and being someone who doesn't have a lot of money and not much in my savings account, I don't have to question whether or not I can treat my dog due to the security of this insurance. I HIGHLY recommend them 💞💞"
