Peace of mind!
I love how easy it is to file a claim with Pets Best and how quickly claims are reviewed and approved. The only small improvement I would suggest is faster direct deposit for reimbursements, since it usually takes a few days to arrive. Having pet insurance gives me peace of mind knowing I can afford to get my dog the best veterinary care possible without worrying as much about the cost. That peace of mind is priceless!
Scout Dog
My pup, Scout, was attacked by a bigger dog a few years ago. Since then she has had multiple medical issues that have been very pricey. I am not sure I could have made the same choices I have been able to make if I didn't know I had Pets Best to back me up. I will forever be grateful for Pets est for giving me peace of mind and more time with my girl!
Life Saving Experience
Back in 2024, my cat, Clover, went missing while I was away on military orders. Despite the tireless efforts of my family and community to bring her home, it took two long months before she was finally found. A resident spotted Clover lying on the side of the road and contacted animal control. When they arrived, she was in critical condition and was immediately rushed to an animal hospital, where she was given less than a 50% chance of survival. She was severely malnourished, so weak that she couldn't even lift her head, and desperately needed a blood transfusion. She was eventually transferred to another hospital that had her blood type available. The veterinarians were honest with us about her prognosis. Even if Clover survived, there was a possibility of permanent neurological damage, and she might never be the same cat we once knew. But we weren't ready to give up on her, and neither was her incredible veterinary team. We chose to give Clover every possible chance to fight. We knew her medical care could cost tens of thousands of dollars, but thanks to Pets Best, we were able to focus on giving her the care she desperately needed rather than worrying about how we would afford it. My family was responsible for only a small fraction of the total veterinary expenses. Today, Clover is living proof of what can happen when a family, a dedicated veterinary team, and a pet insurance company all come together to give an animal a second chance. And as for the possibility that Clover would never be the same cat again? The doctors were right, but in the most wonderful way. She's even more affectionate, cuddly, and kitten-like than she was before! I will forever be grateful to Pets Best for helping us give my baby girl the fighting chance she deserved.

Adoro is unbelievably easy to get signed up with, easy to submit claims and extremely fast on paying claims. I would recommend 110% to anyone looking for pet insurance. I was really hesitant about getting pet insurance and researched many companies. I am so grateful I went with Adoro. We adopted 2 black lab puppies in August and I signed them both up for insurance. I really didn't think we would need it especially not in the first year, let alone in the first few months. One of our puppies has already had an ear infection and a mass tumor growth that had to be surgically removed. We are still waiting to see what the growth is and if further treatment will be needed. Needless to say we reached her $1000 deductible and Adoro paid their part for her surgery. For anyone on the fence about getting the pet insurance I highly recommend you get it.

I've been a member with Pets Best since 2022. Submitting claims has always been easy and user friendly through the portal. I would say in the past 6 months, payments started being processed quicker which is nice. It's a relief to know that if something were to happen to one of my pets I can always get them the best care. I'll never have to make that tough decision of having to put my pet down because I can't afford the treatment which gives me peace of mind. I think if you have a pet, you owe it to them to provide them with a loving home and medical care. Getting pet insurance was the best decision I made for my pets. My employer started offering pet insurance at a group a group rate. I decided to stay with Pets Best because the other insurance had a cap on coverage (specific $ amount that they would only reimburse up to). I'm very satisfied and will continue having my pets covered by Pets Best insurance.
Monthly fee jumped by 90%!!!
I was $118 monthly on a 70%/$500 deductible plan and then in March 2026 it jumped to $225.96/mo! I called them and they said it was due to age of my do (currently 9yrs old and turning 10 in this Nov) and that the claims amount for my state rose! This is triple the California average! Very disappointing but people with new dogs considering Healthy Paw should be aware of this ridiculous increase out of the blue.
Exactly What Pet Insurance Should Be
When my 12-year-old dog suddenly fell and couldn't get back up, we learned through extensive testing that he was dealing with several significant health issues in addition to the arthritis he had battled for years. The months that followed involved numerous vet visits, specialist consultations, tests, and treatments. Pets Best was there every step of the way. Claims were easy to submit, processed quickly, and reimbursed according to the plan I had chosen. Most reimbursements were deposited directly into my bank account within days. Having that financial support allowed me to focus on my dog's care rather than worrying about the cost, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

We love this company! Premiums are very reasonable and coverage is excellent! We couldn't be happier! We take exceptional care of our dog but he has had some unexpected medical issues and Pets Best has been wonderful in that they've helped financially by covering some of the costs. Claims are easy to submit and they're processed super fast! I wouldn't choose any other pet insurance company! "
