Our dog Freddie has been covered by PetsBest insurance for over four years now. Our monthly payments fall right within our household budget. Customer service via email and telephone is excellent. Pets Best is the best
I promise this is a real review. I dont usually write reviews but we are so grateful for our pet insurance right now. Our two year old puppy just didn’t get up one morning and within a day the ER was saying she had a mass that had to be removed for her to get better. We had to decide quickly and so paid for the procedure and three days of related tests and in patient care. I filed a claim with our pet insurer Pets Best and was so relieved when they paid out for 90% of surgery costs within a week of filing. This company did what they said they would with no push back or delays. Our dog is home and doing well and I’m so glad stressing about paying for her care isn’t part of what we’re dealing with.

A Must Have for Pet Owners!
Without Pets Best Insurance, I would’ve had to re-home my best buddy. Thankfully they pay the majority of her medical bills and I am able to care for her and keep a roof over our heads. I also love their Wisker Docs service. I have referred many of my friends to Pets Best and they, too, are also very happy with so much their service. The only downside is once in while it’s difficult to process claims.

To be honest, I expected a drawn-out argument that would ultimately end in a negative decision, based on a previous insurance claim I had with a different company. Pets Best has far exceeded my expectations. The entire process was simple, straightforward, and ended with a positive outcome. I truly appreciate the way you handled my claim. I’ve already told friends and family how impressed I am with your pricing, and now I have another great experience to share with them. It’s refreshing to work with a company that delivers on its promises and treats its customers fairly. Thank you again for making this such a positive experience!

Ok so I get they don’t cover basic wellness checks but I mean damn. Trupanion totally sucks. They deny cleaning with anesthesia but require you to have yearly dental exams lol. So you must pay full for exams and then when you go for cleaning if the Vet listed tartar at all they are denied for life. I mean I brush her teeth and try my best to keep them clean but she’s 8 and well dogs need professional cleanings once and while. I pay since she’s a puppy and this scam of an insurance literally has denied every claim . Here’s the best part. I’ve only put in 1 and paid the others because I knew they wouldn’t but something like this you would think they would at least give you a few hundred bucks towards it. So bottom line is what are they paying out on ? I wish I started a pet insurance company. Just collect peoples money and never have to pay out a single claim. I think that’s called stealing. I truly got this insurance for a big emergency but the more I look into it I don’t know what emergency they would even pay out on? Pet insurance is such a god damn scam it’s ridiculous and the vets are all in on it with them. Any honest one who was retired would tell you. So now do you drop them and then the next one declines everything because she’s now older and wasn’t with them since a puppy therefore everything will be called pre existing? Thankfully I can afford the bills so far for this one. I’m sure some out there got lucky or unlucky depending on how you look at it if your dog fit the criteria for a paid claim. That probably means it’s a very serious issue. Never heard a good word about this scam insurance company and would never buy a policy again or tell someone else to. Trupanion should be ashamed of themselves for taking money and raising premiums but never helping out with a single claim that I’ve ever heard of from anybody whose gotten it. Go with MetLife or I hear lemonade is decent. Just DONT get “Scampanion” ! You will pay and pay and they won’t settle a single claim unless maybe your dog needs some emergency surgery or something and I pray that it’s covered for you and your animal. Thanks for nothing Trupanion. You truly suck

I'm happy to say that my first puppy visit to the vet was a lot less stressful knowing that I had Pets Best insurance. The claims process was so easy, and the reimbursement timing was quick. Having Pets Best for my little guy is a win. "
Excellent Insurance
My dog was diagnosed with Diabetes a year ago. I am so fortunate to have this insurance.. My monthly payment is worth-it considering how expensive are the Vet charges for this desease . My claims are processed timely and if they have a question they call my vet without bothering me(nice). Claims are so easy to submit. Needles to say I am very happy with this insurance and their customer service. I highly recommend it.
