Terrible service! Unreasonable requests, lazy agents.

I recently signed up with Sonnet, only to be requests, more than 1 month into the program, to complete a technical form, which I didn't receive any guidance, any support. The form asked for informations related to ratios, to complete coded information and so on. When reached out, customer service only said, you should have all this information, which all customer have (endorsements, codes and so on). Worst service, worst mistake I've ever done in terms of insurance. It makes me miss TD (yes, this bad)

Trupanion has upped their game since my terrible experiences with them in 2025 (see earlier reviews). While they may take a little time, they have been paying my claims in a fair manner, including back-to-back expensive visits to the ER. I have not had to call them in over a year and certainly have not been given the run-around that I experienced in 2025. I appreciate that Trupanion listened to my truthful reviews and that they have greatly improved their customer service and their commitment to allowing pet owners to take proper care of their beloved companions. - Thank you, Trupanion.

Highly Recommended

We have been with Pets Best since our Patch was 6 months old. As fur parents, we were not expecting to use pet insurance. It was for peace of mind until we needed it. Patch started developing severe allergies before he turned 1 which continued throughout his lifetime. Pets Best was always on top of our claims. Never had any push back. Claims were easy to turn in and the reimbursement was timely. Explanation of benefits are clearly written out and summarized. When we had to close out Pets Best after Patch’s passing, their customer service representative was extremely empathetic and sincere in speaking with me. It was a very moving experience. For that reason alone, I would choose Pets Best all over again should we decide to get another fur baby.

Never Too Late to Get Pet Insurance

I've had pets my entire life and never had pet insurance. And it cost me. I finally decided it was time with my new adoptees. I did my research thoroughly and chose Pumpkin, and I'm glad I did. They are accessible, friendly, quick to process claims and quick to reimburse, no fanfare, no making you jump through hoops. I couldn't be more pleased.

Good Insurance Quote, But Be Prepared for Price Changes

I had a mixed experience purchasing my auto insurance. The customer service representative was polite and helpful throughout the process, and the coverage options were competitive. However, the pricing process was confusing. My initial online quote was over $500/month. After speaking with customer service and reviewing my information, the premium dropped to about $350/month. After I made some coverage changes, it increased to $382/month, which I felt was reasonable. The surprise came when I agreed to proceed with the purchase. During the final verification, the representative discovered a speeding ticket from 2023 that I had forgotten to mention. As a result, the premium increased to $447/month, an increase of $65 per month. I understand that accurate driving history affects insurance pricing, and I appreciate that the final premium reflected the correct information. My feedback is that it would be helpful if insurers could verify driving records earlier in the quoting process so customers have a more accurate expectation before making a purchasing decision. Overall, the coverage is good and the customer service was professional, but I would encourage anyone getting a quote to have their driving history handy and expect the final premium to change if additional information is discovered during the underwriting process.
