Healthy Paws is a Literal Lifesaver
I never write reviews for anything, but every pet parent should invest in Healthy Paws. Shortly after I adopted my first cat, I found out she had kidney disease as well as an underlying GI issue. She has been in and out of a specialty vet hospital for the past few years, and she recently had to get emergency surgery to insert devices to bypass her kidneys. Healthy Paws has covered every single bill without question, and they have unmatched customer service. Every claim I’ve submitted is completed quickly and the process is so simple. Healthy Paws has literally saved my cat’s life, because I would never have been able to afford her medical care on my own.

Too many Deductibles
1st my claim was denied and when I appealed it it was approved, But for whatever reason the charges were ineligible. Then my dog had the surgery and 2 separate deductibles were applied because they did to procedures during the one surgery. To me a deductible should be paid one time per year. When I dealt with the staff they were always courteous and responded promptly. I probably would not recommend trupanion until they revise their pre existing and deductible protocols

Embrace Isurance allowed us to give our dog a richer, longer life.
Embrace Insurance is a reasonably-priced comprehensive policy. Our claims were easily filed and promptly acknowledged. We received reimbursement checks in a timely manner. Embrace enabled us to treat our dog for several life threatening conditions, thereby giving her a comfortable life and allowing us to keep our companion as long as possible. At the end of her life the company treated us with compassion unseen in most companies today. We will be looking for another dog soon, and we will definitely sign up with Embrace Insurance again.

Great coverage and speedy reimbursement
Our Dobie tore her CCL this year and had to have surgery. I was very impressed with Healthy Paws. We were able to get her a good surgeon and did not have to worry about the bill. They reimbursed 80% of it, with a short turnaround time, filing the claim was super easy and they also followed up to see how our girl was doing. They were recommended to me by a friend whose dog had to have surgery and I am glad I followed her advise and signed up our dog for Healthy Paws when she was a puppy. Highly recommend!

Jake is thriving
If I had not signed up with Nationwide, I don't know that my Jake would still be alive. He is currently cancer free after 4 surgeries, chemo , and radiation for anal gland cancer. Never a problem getting paid in a timely manner. Thank you Nationwide!
