Trupanion is hands down the best
I have owned 4 dogs and have dealt with multiple pet insurance companies. Trupanion is hands down the best. I always know upfront what we can expect back for a claim and everything is straight forward. Not having a cap placed on a health condition has been a godsend!

Took our lil dude to get fixed and he sailed through the surgery just great and I put it all in the vets hands to turn in all his records, as told by your agent to do, since they had to call poison control I also told them to send all his paper work to you.

I put in my claims and got an automatic email that Trupanion received my claims. It took about a week for Trupanion to accept the claims and again I got an email stating that the money will be reimbursed in 5-7 days. It took less than 3 weeks for Trupanion to review my claims and reimburse the 90% back into my checking account. The total amount I spent on my dog for surgery including deductible was less than $2500, which is better than $8,000 +. I am so happy with their customer service. Putting in this claim was a breeze because the representative on the phone answered all of my questions. thank you Trupanion!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the best and most inclusive insurance.
Didn't know about Pet Insurance Review when we were looking but we love our choice. We've been with Nationwide Pet insurance since our baby was a baby. They've never been a hassle to deal with. Everything is automated and they've covered everything from emergency services to prescriptions. We've hit no exclusions from the services.

good insurance very satisfied.
I am very happy with the insurance I have 3 dogs insured with you. my only problem is exclusions on Conan policy , a pre existing condition dating 4 years ago. small growth was remove from his neck, benign, 4 years later he had a small growth on his leg and they denied the claim. but we are working on fixing the issue.

Very helpful in covering unexpected surgery costs
My 4 year old Cavalier, Birdie, had a growth on her scalp that at first seemed like nothing, but eventually grew large enough to be a concern. It was recommended that we have it surgically removed and biopsied, so we did so. Luckily, it was benign and Birdie has healed quickly. We were able to get reimbursed for 90% after our deductible, which made it affordable. She also required a dental cleaning, which isn't covered, but that part was only a minimal cost when compared to all the fees (anesthesia, medications, extractions, etc) and I am SO glad we didn't wait any longer or she would have had further decay and pain. I know other people have chosen other pet insurance providers because they cover dental cleanings, but in reality, the actual cleaning portion is not what costs the most - it is if your dog requires extractions or medications that end up adding to the final cost.

I have never had pet insurance before, but when we got our puppy last year, I signed up for Nationwide. I am so very glad I did! Turns out our beloved girl has had more visits to the vet than any of our past dogs. Payment has always been prompt, the staff is very helpful, the app easy to use and since we are on a fixed income, our insurance has let us get Sophie the appropriate care without putting us into debt. Would totally recommend this company to others. They are so nice, and I was notified the same day of one of our wellness claims that it was received and accepted. It’s really nice to know that this company cares about our dog. I did a lot of research before settling, and they seem to cover more with very competitive rates
