Very easy process

The experience was seem less and easy, and the coverage is great. I highly recommend if you are looking into pet insurance, you should look into what MetLife provides.

Would not recommend this pet insurance

Would not recommend this pet insurance. I purchased it when my dog was a puppy. Not an extensive coverage- max 5000 claim and deductible was 500. Purchased for the ”just in case” rates increase so much over time- started at 20-23 dollars. Not one claim was made however by the time my dog was 7 the rate was close to 100 dollars per month. Never once made a claim on account. You are better to save your money for just incase than waste it on this insurance company. Complete waste of money- would not recommend - I had the least comprehensive plan.

I can’t believe you are asking me for…

I can’t believe you are asking me for my opinion. Especially after what your claims department put me and my wife through. Just look at all of the emails I sent to Healthy Paws claims dept. Trying to respond to their daily emails asking for records.

Healthy Paws makes submitting claims so…

Healthy Paws makes submitting claims so very easy. While visits to the Vet can be very stressful, it’s comforting to know that your claim submission will go smoothly.

Rattlesnake bite

Our darling rescue dog Libby was bitten by a huge rattlesnake! We rushed her to the emergency hospital and she needed 3 anti venom infusions and overnight treatment. Thank goodness for Vets Best.

No live person in the claims department

My dog had ACL surgery which was covered but not the vet visit prior (which included office visit, x-rays, pain medications, etc. which was over $400). I called to ask which physical therapy was covered and they could not answer that until my dog had the PT and I filed a new claim. I asked to speak to the claims dept and was told there isn't a live human being in the dept to speak to. What? Then how do you determine what is covered and what isn't? There are numerous types of therapy I just want to know which ones are covered. I was told my dog has to have the PT and after I send a final bill (Lord only knows how much that will be) then they will tell me if it is covered. Not cool.
