Bad customer service
My first claim, there were five invoices, the total claim was $1392.59. The policy I bought was “Annual” deduction $700.00, 90% . Fetch staff charged $1049.88, when I did the online chat with a human Lisa told me she saw the error, but she has to file a reassessment form and it will take 30 days for a correction. I then phoned and was informed that that information was correct. Even though she saw the error, and said she saw that the form had been filed it would take 30 days to get corrected. That is ridiculous. I was not upset about the error. Mistakes are made, but taking 30 days to make a correction is in my opinion incorrigible. Shame on Fetch. I am pretty sure that they would not pay a claim if I made my premium 30 days late.

Great Insurance!
Having MetLife pet insurance for my 3 fur babies is a great insurance to have. I appreciate the reimbursements, after taking them to the vets. The customer service is wonderful. I highly recommend MetLife pets for your fur babies.

Good company
I have never had any issues getting claims reviewed and paid in a timely manner. The coverage is very comprehensive and they honor the terms and provisions of the policy. Cost is a bit steep but I have a older cat, relatively healthy, but who needs more than average vet visits. I would like to see a discount for longevity and loyalty. Overall, very satisfied with ASPCA.

Claims Are Great, Ever Increasing Premiums Are Horrible
I can happily say that I have never had a claim denied and customer service is fantastic, hence the 2 stars. However, I am removing 3 stars because of the ever-increasing premiums which are disgraceful. For my area, the premiums for my Yorkie had more than doubled in a little over 3 years, started at $714 per year ($60/month) in June 2022 for 90/10 (10% copay) and kept creeping up to $1,700 per year ($142 per month) in October 2025. Upon reviewing my monthly bills in March 2026, it was time to cut some, so I called Trupanion for higher copay option and was quoted $77 for 70/30 (30% copay for me) starting April 2, so I changed it. Then, I get an email on May 27 that the rate is increasing to $90 on August 2, which is a 17% increase in 4 months. And to top it off, I have a wellness plan with my vet, so they never have to pay for a vet exam and don't have to pay for some disease and diagnostic testing (such as one panel of bloodwork and one set of x-rays per year included in my vet plan). They should consider giving discounts or frozen premiums for periods of time to members who have these. In any event, as you can see, I tried reducing my coverage, and the premium went up again only 4 months later, and so I am strongly considering cancelling altogether now. And, if I stayed with the 90/10 plan, and if it continued at the current rate of 70% average annual increase, it would be over $7,000 per year if/when my little dog reaches 15 years old.

Excellent Claims Experience and Fast Reimbursement
I recently submitted my first claim with Pumpkin Pet Insurance for my kitten, Donatello, and I had a great experience. The claims process was straightforward, communication was clear, and my claim was reviewed without any issues. My veterinary bill was around $127, and Pumpkin reimbursed approximately $95, which I felt was fair based on my policy. Receiving the reimbursement gave me peace of mind and reinforced that having pet insurance was a worthwhile decision. As a first-time pet owner, it's reassuring to know that when unexpected veterinary expenses come up, Pumpkin follows through on its coverage. I'm very happy with my experience so far and would recommend Pumpkin to anyone looking for reliable pet insurance.
