Love Embrace, Highly recommend
I've had embrace insurance for my dog for over 3 years now and they have been great. Previously, my dog was stung by/ate a/ bee and ended up being highly allergic and had to go to the emergency after hours animal hospital. This happened on THE VERY DAY that her waiting period was up so I was worried they were going to give me a hard time about the claim, but they didn't! It was covered and I was reimbursed quickly. Now my dog came down with a mystery illness and was running a really high fever and after 5 vet visits, we still didn't know what caused it, but embrace covered each visit. I never submit the required forms either, it's so tough to get my vet to fill it out during the visit, so I just take a picture of the receipt and submit it online and Embrace even reaches out to my vet to get the report from them. Overall, the customer service is great and super responsive via chat, and the claims process is super easy. They also cover medications as part of the accident/illness claims which many other companies don't and we all know they can get pricey.

Nationwide is the best!
April 26, 2018 started like any other day until 11:00 am when Chumlee all of sudden started acting like something was bothering him...by 7:00 pm he was having difficulty walking and by 11:30 pm his back legs were paralyzed this injury fell out of the sky Chumlee has never been sick. The next morning I took him to the vet and they determined it was his back and they thought he had less than 50% chance of walking again and they gave me a referral to NC State University Veterinary Hospital. Once we arrived the ER Doctor gave me the same odds of him walking again. Chumlee was referred to the Neurology service and after a lot of testing the neurologist came out to talk to me and said Chumlee could feel deep pain and his chances of walking again with surgery was 80-90%. his diagnosis was intervertebral disc herniation with spinal cord compression.. He had the surgery and I can happily report he is walking again like nothing ever happened. It's very expensive going to a teaching hospital or any specialty hospital and even though we had to pay for the surgery out of pocket up front thank god we had Chumlee insured with Nationwide Whole Pet with Wellness plan you can't imagine the peace of mind this gave us knowing we didn't have to make the decision that no pet owner wants to make. The total bill for Chumlee was $3542.93 and Nationwide's reimbursement was $3187.92. Nationwide paid this claim in a timely manner without giving us any hassle or questions about the claim. We are proud owners of Chumlee and Nationwide's Whole Pet with Wellness Plan!

Glad I stayed with you
Charlie recently had a little problem acting very dizzy and out of sorts. I rushed him to the Dr. where they kept him for about 3 hours doing a lot of test and X-rays. They put him on an anabiotic and sent him home. His bill came to about $400. Nationwide paid back 90% no questions asked. I had considered cutting his plan after all the puppy stuff was done but am so glad I didn't. They're easy to work with and quick on paying claims.

Caring and straightforward
Very good company to work with. They were prompt in replying back to my emails and easy to understand explanation of benefits. Like the personal touch of when my dog passed away in regards to personalized condolence card. Also a real benefit when my dog was here the wellness award offered that is separate from the basic policy. No other pet insurance company I believe offers that. A couple of annoyance though, they are a little too strict with the pre-existing condition clause of the policy, especially in regards to basing your pets cause of death to some other condition or accident that happened previously. In which there was no correlation between the two or multiple events. Also if you happen to change your primary pet's veterinarian to another veterinarian and you have a claim with your new vet.. It was kind of difficult to correlate the two vets information to prove any new procedure, illness, or, accident was not related.

Embrace has always come through for us.
Over the years, we have had pet insurance with several carriers. Embrace is the easiest to deal with. People answer the phone and claims are processed quickly. The premiums and coverage are set to my specifications and needs. I enthusiastically recommend Embrace.

Love this insurance program! Easy to work with, quick and responsive when adding or updating a claim.
I've only had this insurance for a short while (three months or so), and have nothing to say except what a very good decision on my part to add it. My husband and I have been thinking about pet insurance, but never really researched it until Pets Best came across my desk. No disappointments, quick in response, turnaround time is typically within one to two days. Policy is true to claim process and what's covered (or what's not). Would highly recommend to anyone with a pet.
