Reliable and quick! Pre-existings can be frustrating
Have whole pet wellness that includes anything we go to the vet for. Pre-existings can be eligible for removal if 6 months of no treatment. This has been vague for us with gastroenteritis as we had to bring our dog in the first 2 weeks of owning him and was during blackout period. Other than this, any and all claims have been process quickly and the piece of mind of going to the vet regularly has been invaluable. We recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to everyone.

Great service!
Lucy has the wellness rider and she went in for some routine work at the doctor's office. Your claim department was great and they paid Lucy's claim very quickly. I have tried to get me friends with pets and family members to insure their pets with Nationwide and will continue to do so. Thanks for all you do.

Nationwide was wonderful again!
This claim went so smooth. The vet center sent the claim in for me and the next day Nationwide sent me an e-mail stating they have received it and it is in processing. Approximately four weeks later, I receive a check to cover the expense of an emergency broken tooth extraction. Also, every time I call Nationwide, they are so courteous and helpful on the phone. I will always be with Nationwide as long as I have pets.

Nationwide VPI are truly as good as their word---and that's saying a lot!
Seemingly, all too often the service claims made by businesses, particularly insurance companies, leave a lot to be desired. However, Nationwide VPI pet insurance are truly as good as their word. They are very customer responsive, efficient, timely and equitable in adjudicating veterinary medical and preventative health care claims.

Easy and reliable
Doggie had leg surgery so I’ve used the insurance twice to reimburse me for the X-rays and surgery. Claims were processed quickly and staff is very responsive. Claims process is very easy, take the claims form to the vet, they’ll stamp it, and send that form in with the vet bill. Super easy!!
