Quite pleased with your service
Well it's open enrollment and we'll definitely be continuing our pet's coverage with your insurance. We have a 5 year old dog and a puppy and it's so nice having that peace of mind that comes with having pet insurance. It paid for itself with the annual visit, flea/tick/heartworm meds and labs. I was pleasantly surprised. I tell everyone I know.

Nationwide changed coverage that I specifically checked when I enrolled my dog 7 years ago.
I have a large mixed breed dog. When I got him as a puppy, I double and triple checked that hip dysplasia and ACL surgery were covered. They were. Now, however, hip dysplasia is not covered and ACL has limited coverage. Fortunately my dog doesn't have either of these, but now that he is older and has preconditions, changing insurance companies is not feasible. Also, Nationwide never contacted me about the changes in coverage. I was reading the booklet that came with my new yearly policy and discovered it for myself. It is also confusing about what and how much they cover for cancer treatments. I am a little concerned about posting this because of repercussions. But Nationwide has paid in a timely manner and been very helpful with his other issues.

better online banking services
Hi I have had great service with Nationwide and love the electronic deposits you are able to make; however, this last time I had difficulty on the banking end, Chase. I could not remember my password and had the most difficult time working with them to get a new password. I reached the deadline and had to have my reiembursment mailed to me which ended up taking a very long time.

Overall Nationwide is great ! The only issue is the payment ...we were told -payments would be about two weeks ! They have been taking about a month. Breeze is doing much better ! Thank you :)

Excellent Serviceing of claims and reasonable rates for insurance
Have two dogs enrolled with Nationwide Ins. Excellent servicing of claims submitted for the past five years for one dog and three years for the other. Never had a dispute on any claim submitted as the reason for any decision is on the form and after review of the policy always in accord with the policy. If you ever have any questions just call and a well qualified associate is ready to be of assistance. I do recommend Nationwide for assisting in keeping my dogs in the best of health.

Once again Pets Best have been outstanding covering Kentous expensive medical costs for detached retinas and a gastro infection.
2 visits to NCState emergency, 3 more to different vets. Total cost close to $5000.00 we received 80% back and Kentou is doing much better. Thank you Pets Best for your excellent response, we highly recommend them to all pet owners!!! Lauren and Pete.

Premiums can be a little high, but peace of mind
We've been with Nationwide (formerly VPI), since our pup was brought into our family. While I have been through a few iterations of different policy types, Nationwide always has been friendly throughout the policy term (quotation, renewal, claims reevaluation). The agents have always walked me through fair options when I've had questions about a claim or deciding if I needed to switch policies during renewal. An extra benefit of Nationwide policies is the helpline, which lets you call in and speak to a person about your pet's symptoms before going to a vet at 2AM (both times the advice has been monitor and take the next day, which the vet agreed with). I would recommend insuring a pet through Nationwide if you are looking for pet insurance due to their strong customer service and support throughout the policy term.

Great Coverage
Highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance with Wellness! In fact, I tell everyone I talk to with a dog. Both of my French Bulldogs are insured and it has been a lifesaver! From puppy vaccines to swallowing a bee to skin infections, Nationwide is there to help cover costs. The claims process is so simple! You can submit you claim via the app before you even leave the vet... it's amazing!! They tell you up to 30 days but it's typically much faster. We compared many different policies and Nationwide offer the broadest coverage. I can't speak highly enough!
