Thinks twice after reading my review

When our first dog died my wife found rescue, she made or pain easier, year after we saved life of another little joy. Both covered by PetsBest. I never had issues, paid 90/10, never cancelled Wellness Part, never complained about rising prices or claim processing time. Just loyal happy customer. All changed in one day. Little joy developed teeth issues. Took him to vet - he needed 12 teeth removed, life saving situation. Emergency situation! Pets Best claimed your dog health is our number one priority!?? They simply denied claim saying you have to wait 13 months before anything can be done!!!! Imagine you need live saving surgery and your insurance telling you to wait! Appeal says same - keep your dog in pain for 13 months until we will cover it. You people have no hearts at all!

Denial of surgery

I had been paying on time every month for this service and when my vet said my cat did not have a pre existing condition and needed surgery it was denied. How can someone who has never seen my cat deny surgery he needs? So sad!!

Easy enrollment

Easy enrollment. Love that it allows everything on line and we are able to create a family plan for both dogs instead of just one policy for each dog.

Very disappointed in Embrace

Very disappointed in Embrace. I switched to them because they partner with USAA. For the first few years, every time went to the Vet, Embrace found a way not to pay; whether pre-existing condition or just not covered. We wasted thousands of dollars. This year, my healthy 11 year old dog, they want $2,775.16 to renew for a year!! Ridiculous!

Dachshund surgery

We insured our young dachshund hoping we would never need it, but when she needed back surgery for a compressed spinal cord, we were so grateful we did. Pumpkin covered the max allowed, which made the costs something we could handle, rather than financially crippling. We were able to rush her into surgery, and a month or so later, the claim was paid. When we checked in with Pumpkin with questions, we received timely responses. And, our policy recently renewed so we continue to have peace of mind if anything were to happen in the future.
