Terrific pet insurance
This was about as easy and straight-forward as it gets. We had an unexpected ER pet visit that was quite costly. We submitted the claim and it was paid promptly. We are really pleased with Nationwide Pet Insurance. Happily, Olive Oyl has recovered well.

Phone reps are phenomenal but reimbursement process is awkward.
Thank you for having great phone support. Your reps are knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. The email notifications were also timely. The only thing confusing is you send emails saying your claim is complete with the amount of your reimbursement. Additionally, when you go to the website to view your account you see that your claim is complete. Since I had previously enrolled to receive my reimbursements via electronic deposit, I feared there was an error with my claim. However - what is omitted from the communication stream is that there are extra steps from your partnership with Chase Bank to complete your reimbursement. I wish the complete process of the claim reimbursement was revealed in the email I received to notify me that my claim had been completed.

Healthypaws claim process was simple in a time of major stress
Several months back my small dog was attacked by a big dog. The big dog bite and shook my dog like a chew toy. I took him to the ER immediately. My poor dog had 3 small lacerations, 1 major laceration, a cracked rib, and a bruised lung. A few days later a massive infection occurred due to the skin separating from the muscle during the attack and he went into surgery. He was healing well for the few days and the stitches split open due to the location of the laceration. So a couple of weeks later, it was decide he should go back into surgery to help heal the wound. My poor dog had been in and out the hospital at least a dozen time in less than a month. The stress and emotions I had every time he had to go into hospital was unimaginable but thankfully healthypaws was there to alleviate the monetary stress. The claim process was simple and quick. I think I received the check even before my CC bill was due. It was a huge relief that I healthpaws. It allowed me to focus all my attention on my dog's recovery.

Nationwide has an easy claim submission process. The claims are received and acted up timely. With notification on the website, as well as via email, as to the status. The EOBs are very self explainitory. And reimbursement is also a seem less process. The website if one of the easiest I use. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The information is readily available and you are not searching endlessly without finding the information you need.

Very quick at processing our claim
Trupanion has helped us be able to treat our dog and get the help he needs. Very reassuring knowing you are so easy to communicate with by phone and the vets offices can send off our claim for us. Thank- you!

Filing claims is unbelievably easy. I keep Pickle's file at my office and fax from there. I would, however, like a straight answer as to whether this insurance will cover cleaning her teeth so that they don't get so bad that they cause digestive problems. Your answer please.

Relief - every pet owner needs insurance

Incredible to deal with and easy to submit claims
I did a ton of research on different pet insurance companies before I chose healthy paws 6 years ago. They have been incredible to deal with. Unfortunately, my pure bread dog had had many problems over the years which has led to several $2,000 - $3,000. The amount of vet problems she has had is crazy that it's almost laughable. Healthy Paws has always given me full reimbursement and never pushed back. Their customer support team is always helpful and it's very easy to submit a claim from your phone. I'm very thankful to them for helping me keep my very expensive dog healthy and happy. I've never had to make a tough choice about her care knowing that Healthy Paws will cover it. I highly recommend this insurance company.
