My claims were reviewed for my 3 year old cat's costly urgent care vet visits and reimbursed within 2 weeks of submitting our claims. I'm so happy to be able to pursue diagnostics and treatment that I might not otherwise be able to. My cats are like my children and without fetch I would either have had to pick and choose between treatments and diagnostics. Instead we were able to perform all recommended tests and I was reimbursed for a little more than $1,000 (minus the $250 deductible).

Timely and slow
Very slow claim process and had to do all the work for the insurance company. My time is precious, why am i doing your work? I should have to call doctors. Cost friendly compared to other companies, however, other companies pay 100% of everything. Just got my claim today, two months later. Wasnt the greatest experience.

Not a pre-existing condition
Rescued my golden who had small, hard stool when I got him and was on raw diet. I switched him to kibble which caused soft stool until we got him settled and it never occurred again. Until he got sick in May. Due to Dr wording-misunderstanding you all consider this a "pre-existing condition"! Which is NOT. He had soft stool during transition only. So the food that he now requires due to sensitive stomach is not covered which I don't agree with!

Excellent for older cats
Hartville is a great deal, they’ve been covering 80% of my cats illness injury claims. It’s good because he’s a senior cat and sometimes it can be a challenge finding someone to insure him. I’m saving a lot of money by having this insurance. My only issue is sometimes the app in the website can have glitches that make it hard to login.
Relatively timely claim approval
I've had Spot for two years for my four-year-old dog. During this time, I submitted three claims for three separate incidences/illnesses, and all three were approved in about 2 weeks. The funds were reimbursed soon thereafter. I am glad I signed up for Spot while she was young and did not have any pre-existing conditions.

My cat needed a procedure to help her breathe better and improve her longterm health. After her Vet recommended surgery I decided to do. Best decision. Not only is she feeling way better but she is acting like a young cat should and Healthy Paws processed my claim quickly and paid as I hoped for :))

The best pet insurance around
The best pet insurance around! Came from a different insurance (nationwide), who I had for years, however, their policy changed and MetLife was the ONLY insurance with similar or even better coverage. Hoping to stay here ok it as long as I can. Claims have been seamless, coverage has been excellent, refunds have been great.

I’m amazed how easy the claims are to file. I expected to have to hunt up a high amount of paperwork. I sent in my bill and the doctor’s notes and in about a week there was a check in the mail! Very pleased I chose this insurance company!!
