This was our first real claim - it was SO easy to work with Trupanion! I had a different pet insurance company with our previous dog - and they were awful. So much red tape and so difficult to work with. Trupanion was a breeze - and it really made a stressful situation with our dog that much easier.

Jodi was amazing!
Jodi was amazing!! She was so sweet and calming when I was in complete panic mode. She took care of everything so quickly. I have already told several of my friends about her. I was honestly hesitant about getting pet insurance but now I will never go without it! This operation was expensive and would have left me in a bad situation. Kudos to all of you! Thank you Jodi!

I greatly appreciated that Trupanion listened.
I greatly appreciated that Trupanion listened closely to my concern and didn't try to talk me out of what I thought was the reason for their denial of Ruby's case and quickly told me what needed to be done. I was in the medical field and had experience with claims that made assumptions based on diagnostic codes. Unless you read the full record at the ED, you wouldn't have seen the reason for her symptoms for this specific emergency visit and that it was not related to some similar symptoms previously for another condition. Anyway, it was a nice surprise to get this taken care of so easily and we thank Trupanion.

Dan and Trupanion are great.
Dan and Trupanion are great. We have been very happy with the company/service. I have already recommended you to friends. The one thing I was disappointed about was related to my question for Dan. I was hoping to add additional coverage for acupuncture and cremation to my policy. I was disappointed to learn that cremation is only available as a result of accidents, and that acupuncture is only available if the condition was already known. As a human, I have found that acupuncture has been extremely helpful for managing pain when traditional medicine has not helped a condition I am already suffering from. I understand why Trupanion has this policy, but for something like acupuncture or homeopathy, it would be nice to have the option to add even for a pre-condition. I would be willing to pay a higher price to add if it were available. Thanks!
