Don't get this insurance! Waste of time
Insurance was activated on 2/1/2019. The insurance policy states 24hr waiting period for accidents and 5 day waiting period for illness. My pup fell in the pool, which was an accident and got water in her lungs. We took her to the emergency room and she was treated. Now water in the lungs is automatically considered pneumonia. So the insurance company does not want to cover the claim because they state that pneumonia is considered an illness. BUT how did the water get into her lungs!!!!!! BECAUSE SHE FELL IN THE POOL!

I would not know what to do without Nationwide helping me cover my vet bills for Luna!
Without hesitation OR a doubt, Nationwide truly is the BEST and has the BEST coverage out there for my fur babies! My pets seems to have many medical issues lately and without Nationwide coverage and customer service and their timeliness in sending electronic claim reimbursements, my pets would not be here - as I could not afford their medical care without Nationwide. Best oet insurance
Injury ir wellness claim. The response is quick and is very easy to submit claims. This was the best decision i ever made. My puppy injured her knee on Thanksgiving day and rewuired surgery. The clsim was rocessed and paid quickly!!

Great Pet Insurance
Nationwide Pet Insurance has been an essential part of my dog's life! Customer Service is great, and claims are easy to submit. My dog has had several surgeries over the last 5 years, and Nationwide has reimbursed me for a large percentage of the vet fees.

The representative was very helpful in a frustrating situation.
I got concerned, because the overwhelming portion of my claim was deferred till the full invoice was received. The problem was that I had submitted the entire invoice, but PDFs don't throw errors where you can see one page but not another. I faxed the next time instead of emailing to make sure the same confusion couldn't happen. When I didn't hear back in a few days, I called and was told that it'd be ANOTHER 30 days for this review, like the original claim. This could have gone on for a very long time. I felt strung along over the one major claim I was going to get reimbursed for. The rep said they could file for expediting, and it was resolved within a few days. I really appreciated the help!

Quick, wonderful service
Nationwide was so helpful with my insurance claim after finding a black growth in my dogs mouth. I took Nala to 2 vets to get different opinions and ended up having it removed all within one week. I simply took a picture of what I paid and submitted it through an easy online form. I was repaid 90% after my deductible in less than 2 weeks! My husband was very skeptical as he has never insured a pet before but he now tells people about how amazing this insurance is! I do and will continue to recommend nationwide pet insurance to all my fellow pet owners!

Nationwide Pet Insurance gives peace of mind
Nationwide major medical and wellness is the best investment ever. My Matilda had a seizure in early January and all but $100 of the Emergency ER vet was covered. Nationwide even reached out about 6 weeks later to check in on Matilda. Thankfully she has not experienced another seizure but I have the peace of mind to know vet costs can be reimbursed by the insurance. The wellness clause is also helpful for yearly check-ups, flea-tick/heartworm Rx's, dental cleaning, etc. I know people may baulk at the price but your fur baby is worth it.
