The claims process has been simplified

The claims process has been simplified, no longer requiring scanned/signed forms. It was extremely easy to submit invoices and vet notes, all without further explanation or clarification. I received payment the next day!

The claim submission process is…

The claim submission process is extremely easy, and as long as you understand what is and isn't covered under your policy, there are no surprises. In my most recent claim, the first EOB was sent to me saying my claim was denied due to a preexisting condition; however, I knew that wasn't correct. A few days later, when I was about to go online and challenge the determination, a revised email was sent, saying the claim was being processed, so it seems like the first EOB was an error. Additionally, the pay-outs are sent in a timely manner. I remain pleased with my now almost six-year experience with MetLife's pet insurance (especially because my dog gets frequent mast cell tumors, which must be removed before the cancer spreads, and that's not cheap).

Does not honor plan. Does not cover 80%. Only gave us 20% return.

It's not worth it. We pay $66/month for coverage for one cat and we only received 20% reimbursement. It's cheaper to put your own money aside monthly and use toward vet bills. Fetch won't be upfront about it, they'll use fine print, stretched loop holes to get out of paying you or severely limiting your reimbursement.

I received excellent customer service each time that I've called. The turn around for reimbursements was within the 2-3 day turn around the company states it takes. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance Agency.
