This is the worst pet insurance company…

This is the worst pet insurance company ever! We've been a loyal customer for years. Today, 6/23/26, my annual premium was AGAIN increased as follows without any explanation of why (the excuse "upon renewal" is completely bogus): June 2024: $78.38 July 2025: $98.46 July 2026: $115.66 For what?? We did not change our coverage. We don't file claims except for the required yearly vaccines. We do NOT appreciate these increase without an explanation, and "annual renewal" increase is unacceptable. As a result we have cancelled this insurance and will find another. I have showed my family and friends this unacceptable constant increase with no explanation and told them to find pet insurance elsewhere. They are going to do just that. Nationwide should be ashamed of themselves for constantly increasing premimums with NO explanation

I've had insurance for my dog since I…

I've had insurance for my dog since I got her 5 years ago. Thankfully, last week was the first time I needed to use it for her hospital visit. The process was simple as the office was able to submit the invoice directly. I was pleasantly surprised how much was covered.

Co-pay tripled for long time customers

I spent over a decade with Healthy Paws. They asked me to post favorable reviews recently, during my pet’s ongoing health crisis. A few months later they forced a tripling of my co-pay (from them covering 90% to them covering 70%), while keeping my monthly premium at basically the same cost. They only agree to insure pets while they are young and more likely to be healthy, offering them an 80% reimbursement rate, meanwhile they slash the reimbursement rates on the more expensive older pets they insure. Since pre-existing conditions are not covered through any pet insurance, they have hostages in pet parents who trusted them, and now have no choice but to take the unfair treatment. Learn from my mistake. Find another pet insurance company. These people can no longer be trusted.

I have had the ASPCA pet insurance for…

I have had the ASPCA pet insurance for over 6 years now, all 3 of my pets are covered. My journey started when Sadie my dog fell ill with a rare autoimmune condition. After visiting my primary care vet, and then transferred to an emergency hospital for a blood transfusion, she began to get better. Needless to say, the bill was extremely high. I am happy to say that the ASPCA insurance covered 90% with no questions asked, and to date several years later my cat had to see a specialist for a cancer scare, again the bill was high and the ASPCA insurance covered it with no questions asked. All I had to do in both cases and submit all my paperwork and it was very smooth. I will continue to work with this insurance company.

No Payout, Lack of Communication

I received a month of insurance with the purchase of my cat. The site is easy to use however, after only submitting one claim, I received 5 emails reading "sorry for taking so long" and no other information for my reimbursement. After having no success with this carrier, I decided to switch to Embrace.

Not as happy this year as I've been previously.was very un happy with my renewal…

I was very un happy with my renewal this year. I carry 2 policies on 5 dogs with wellness. This is the beginning of my 4th yr with you, so up till this point you have made alot of money from me. Now im lucky as my dogs have not been unhealthy but I do use my wellness part more than anything, being making sure with a thorough yr exam prevent more costly issues. Well you start a young dog and 4 yrs later your premiums triple as age dose bring on health issues however what about their healthy years when it wasn't needed? You give no consideration of money you made prior you act like I've not been with you and ram $$ didn't matter id invested in your insurance coverage. What you now offer for wellness is a joke.i gave you 3 stars as your claims are easy to file on line with quick repayments.

Pets Best is the best.

"It's always scary when your furry family member seems off because they can't tell you what's wrong with them. When our dog Indie started acting like she needed to vomit but couldn't, we took her into the vet right away. They did the usual tests and screenings and determined that she had eaten something she shouldn't have. They gave her some meds, a special diet, and sent her home. Aside from the worry of whether or not they are going to be ok there is the financial stress of it all. No one wants to say it out loud but I'm sure most people weigh the cost/risk scenario when considering taking their dog to the vet. Because of our Pets Best policy we don't have to think like that and always know our girl is going to get taken care of. It really is a blessing for our family."
