Petsbest is the best!
First time dog owner and was skeptical about pet insurance but I have had such a great experience! PetsBest gives great returns and I’ve received my reimbursement in less than 2 weeks every time!

"I have had Pets Best for my baby since he was 2 months old, and he is now 11. This has helped us tremendously with the unexpected issues that rose up. Having Pets Best is definitely a great help. I have spent so much money over the past few years with all the issues. He now has arthritis, he went blind last year from SARDS, and a few other issues that have come into play but thankfully the test have come back negative, or we have been able to rectify with proper care. Having reimbursement in place has been a big help with all the medical expenses. I would not have been able to financially keep up the care I have been able to provide for my baby if it were not for Pets Best. I have called them and the 24/7 WhiskerDocs on several occasions and everyone is always helpful and caring. We highly recommend getting Pets Best for your baby/babies. Although, I do wish the premium did not go up every year, lol."

If I could give them zero I would. Made a hasty decision to switch from good long term policy due to rate increase and my friend’s recommendation. Not only did the sales rep mislead me on the significantly less coverage but when I complained they suddenly had a better plan available like my previous. I was instructed to cancel and apply again. After weeks of waiting with no coverage and no return calls, another rep said a letter was coming as that is the main form of communication. They were asking for additional vet exams and tests which I paid for and sent over. The exact same bad service experience happened again after weeks of waiting with no coverage and no return calls, another rep said they would not be covering any policy with no explanation even though I just cancelled theirs. So went online and ordered Pumpkin Pet.

Such an easy process!
After having precious dogs with health issues, we purchased insurance for our current pups. Our 2 year old developed kidney stones and needed unexpected vet care. It was easy to upload our claims and they were processed quickly. Fast payment was wonderful, especially knowing that she will need follow up appointments with additional charges.

I have three bulldogs that are covered through pet plus us -my oldest plan is coming up on five years in September. We have had a number of unexpected medical things arise over the last almost 5 years with each of our dogs, everything from ear infections, heart condition, skin issues, eating a foreign object, I fall from a window and our most recent and most expensive surgery yet is a TPLO knee surgery under our youngest canine that is just over a year old. First and foremost, I want to say that PET plus us has been there when we truly needed them the most like everyone else we have been struggling. I myself have a heart condition and that interferes with how much work I can do with a disability myself so having good coverage plan that I can count on For my three canines means more than words can say as I could not have any more children after a cardiac arrest I had .. the medical care that my canine have needed. I would not be able to achieve without my insurance plans. Every time I have spoken to any of the staff at PET plus as they have been none other than welcoming fantastic at getting back to me with answers to my questions or clarifying, they are quick at paying back claims and easy submissions through their portal. And one of the best things is that they are very affordable now I will admit that each year premiums do rise with the cost of inflation.. and it is starting to become a little heavy on the bank account with three dogs being covered, but so far they have been very reasonable rates.. I really hope they continue to be reasonable with their rates as many people like myself have more than one pet.. I think the goal between owner and a good insurance is that we are coming together to ensure the medical care that are beloved for babies need when they arise can be taken care of this means less animals being surrendered to shelters and more owners able to care for their fur baby until it is time to say good bye and rest asured pets plus us is there for you when that time comes too Thanks pets plus us 💕 please keep the amazing coverage and affordable rates and amazing communication and friendly staff couldn’t send a bigger recommendation hands down 5 stars! Both of my Boxers are insured with Healthy Paws for the last 10 years, and I cannot stress how important it is to get pet insurance as soon as you get a pet. I have filed multiple claims on both dogs, and have never been denied reimbursement. I used it for ortho issues, stroke (FCE) and physical therapy, cancer with one, then I just find out yesterday that the other one has a tumor on his thyroid gland and it will need to be surgically removed and go to pathology to see if it is malignant. Healthy Paws will pay for all of this. It is peace of mind knowing that you can properly care for your pet and that you don't have to let them die because treatment is not affordable.
