Excellent service. Highly recommend
We have had Pets best for the last 5 years to insure out 2 dogs. The claims filing process has been super easy. Most recently, they processed two claims for us in under a week. The explanation of benefits is easy to understand. They have always been great to work with. It is so reassuring to have the peace of mind that our babies are insured in case of the unexpected.
Website is user friendly and I like…
Website is user friendly and I like that they offer a family plan when having multiple pets under the same policy and they offer the multi-pet discount. I also had the option for payroll deduction making things even easier for this fur mama definitely recommend.

Well I was looking for pet insurance
Well I was looking for pet insurance. Im shocked what I found. 4 year old husky, if I wanted no deductible and a 800 deposit it was 480 a month. Uh, thats insanity... no thanks. How do they come up with this.

You guys promised me that you would pay…
You guys promised me that you would pay for 90% of my pets bills but yet you only pay like 30% of it. It’s all just made up. I mean like you find a way to not pay for almost everything. It’s really bad I need to leave.

So far so good
I just registered so I can't say anything about the coverage yet. It was super easy to register and the site was easy to navigate. The coverage looks good and the price seemed fair comparatively. I didn't give 5 stars because I didn't see the additional $3 monthly transaction fee mentioned anywhere until the very end and I had to google it to see if the fee was charged for any type of payment option (credit card or ACH bank transfers). Since it's charged each month regardless of pay option - it should be mentioned directly and included in price quotes.

Predatory practices
Predatory practices, STAY AWAY. I am filing a complaint with the department of insurance and also reaching out to this law firm to pursue a class action lawsuit: Haffner Lawyers in LA I hope you will join me. We must not let them get away with being so soulless, predatory and unethical. My story: I have four cats under Healthy Paws pet insurance, all of different ages. In 2024, my premium was $390+, already preposterous but manageable. They tried to raise it to over $900, but luckily I was able to bring it down to about $450 (still wild) by increasing some deductibles and lowering the percentage reimbursed for many of the cats. But then this year they are again raising the price to close to 1k, with my senior cat being $700 of that! This is INHUMANE, as they are basically trying to price out my senior cat, right when he needs his insurance most, and after we've been loyal customers for his entire life! So unethical! And the only options they offer to lower the price is to drastically lower my cats' coverage to the point where it wouldn't really even be useful, even for emergencies! Like I said above, this is predatory behavior.
