Trupanion's rep Jay was very professional, knowledgeable and willing to assist. She even provided additional information that would be helpful when sending payments for future hospital visits. This definitely eases the stress of a pet owner and they can focus on their pets care rather than payment.

Love this pet insurance
I like the $100 annual deductible plan. I pay with my credit card, submit my claim and invoice via email, and I'm usually reimbursed before the payment for the card is due. The only surprise has been learning some of the maximum amounts payable on different issues.

Trupanion makes it so easy to submit claims and makes stressful times easier. You help me to understand my coverage. Everyone I speak to is so genuinely caring. My vet can send claims electronically at the end of each visit and I don’t have to do anything at all!!!

EXTORTION - 37.756% Rate Increase
Yes, Healthy paws did reimburse my pets medical bill in full and immediately, as promised. They state that your rates will never be increased for filing a claim. HOWEVER, the raise their rates on you every single year and this year my RATE INCREASE is 37.756%. Consider this carefully before you commit to a life time of increasing medical rates. I feel that a 37.756% is EXTORTION. I phoned to discuss this increase and I was told that this is the increased cost of insurance in California due to medical advances.
